Yeah, you can probably find a serviceable Windows laptop cheaper than the cable it would take to connect your computer.
Edited to add Windows. Don't buy a Chromebook.
I said compared to a bare engine. I also said it was just my opinion. I honestly don’t know what point you’re trying to make regarding aesthetics. Regarding heat, this thing isn’t retaining much. If any heat. I’m not really excited to be in a position to defend this thing as I really don’t think...
Any one see these yet? They make a 2.3 for the Ranger. I can't decide how I feel about it. I like choices but I'm still holding out for something new from Ford.
JCR Offroad Engine Cover $149 (Sale Price)
- looks cool (at least better than bare, imo)
- should last a long time
- free shipping

Agreed. It looked off. I ended up going with the Ford Performance grill/lights with the original Tremor grill surround. I’m interested to see where you end up with this.
Also, they can just be removed too. Not my paint job, that’s factory perfection.
I used to just take my cars in to have the oil changed & tires rotated because the price was low enough that I didn’t want to do it. Now that prices are terrible all over I’m back to doing it myself. So, here’s my stupid question - Are you supposed to reprogram the TPMS after you rotate the tires?
My wife overheard me wishing for lights (in the bed) for my truck (Ranger). I got these lights for my birthday.
Seriously.
Kinda cool, makes it a little flimsy with how the wires are routed. It'd look much better if I could run them through the firewall.
1. washed and dried my dirty truck
2. adjusted the tire pressures on all wheels to match
3. filled in paint chip on door from some jerkface in a parking lot
4. booted up Forscan to enable marker lights on with DRL for the grille lights
5. admired truck
6. took this photo
7. changed avatar

Ford Performance grille light bar from eBay.
Edit: Couldn't wait. Easy install. Apologies for the crappy photos, the lens on my phone is cracked so all the pictures I take have a BAC of .24
I mean, it's just a door lock. I think it's nice those buttons are right there where I'm expecting them. I could discuss how invaluable muscle memory is to a pilot but I'd rather keep this lighthearted, r5g is one of my happy places.
I didn't say my opinion is more valuable but I'd say...
Muscle memory. It's always right there. Has always worked great. 2 buttons right next together on the door not swinging around on a fob or in a pocket or on the kitchen counter.
You're welcome.
Cool.
Mostly it isn't, but maybe because I have used a keypad without issue for a quarter century...
