I bought mine in this case using Ford points everything was about 10-15 percent higher than you would get from one of the online part sellers and I ended up paying 20 bucks in difference for an engine cover the 2 sets of mudflaps.
And yes it went through the service
I'm going to give the dealer a call but yeah I have plenty of push pins , bought a whole case of them recently but the clips are the problems as they seem to be some kind of metal spring retainers
Molded type it appears it requires push pins and some clips for the rears at least but unfortunately no part numbers are in the included instructions just a picture
Hey guys just used my fordpass points for some of the oem plastic mudflaps and I did not get any included hardware with them nor can I find any part info for them or if I had ordered the wrong thing.
Anybody have some info, thanks?
You seem to be definitely taking this a bit the wrong way , it did not mean often as in fatal issues but often as overall issues that often if ignored by the company as they are too hard to sue.
Now on the fatal design flaw part I do believe the Ford rollover issues got a number of sizeable...
No idea about the the actual problem or who's actually at fault, if the dealer could not actually determine what the codes actually detail then why isnt there a chance that the trucks systems may have failed.
Sadly while we may often have to pay up like an adult a car manufacturers often fuck...
Well got it back yesterday, they did a good job filling the gouge in the metal and painting it , unfortunately they did not look at the other body issue I had originally asked to look at that being my front fascia above the bumper is protruding from the fender, although someone did mark the area...
Whelp, Monday came and went, I called them today and the service advisor that has worked with me is out today and they said they will call me back tomorrow, prodded them to see if it was actually done or not today with no success, the waiting game continues.
Well mini update I dropped it off Monday , after a bunch of calls as the guy handling it was not in, but it got figured out. I asked them too look at the protruding front fender I have and flaking paint around the tailgate. Got a call yesterday that they finally got around to a painting , so we...
Firstly I wish you well on your new job search and welcome to Florida, I bet the special Florida rate for the extended warranty was not a nice surprise, I only went for a 7 yr /70k because of how expensive it is compared to everyone else.
And yeah that blend door repair is the stuff of...
All valid complaints, although personally I find quite comfortable especially as a taller person and only have very slight vibration that occasionally pops up.
The QC state is very unfortunate and difficulty in getting a dealer to fix anything now is insane
Now my main thought about price is...
They did call me back after I called them again about the whole thing, and they booked me on June 13th to bring it in for the paint shop, said it would be 2-3 days turnaround which I guess is better than 14 days of letting it sit in a lot.
Fortunately I just graduated so I am not in an 9-5 atm...
Definitely a two way street, and I remember the one guy duck hunting in online class call got a good laugh out everyone, I also felt like I got half as much done for twice the effort online sometimes, I remember driving 40 minutes to my engineering internship to sit down at my desk in order to...
The situation was the same in September when i bought my Truck, I had an warranty issue 100 miles(the drive home) in when the fender liner fell out and the tire burned through it, I was probably only able to get taken care of right away because my sales guy pushed it through for me.
Doesn't...
Exactly, I'm having the same experience over 2 dealerships 100 miles apart. The one I went to today even asked me on the phone when I made an appointment about if I am going wait at the dealer or drop it off, so how was waiting going to work?
At least the other dealer straight told me how long...
At first I though it was a cool lay out that gets a lot of cars through as you could have 2-3 trucks in each lane with like 12 people getting booked at once, but after this I'm not sure maybe some foam edge guards on the desks would be good ?. Will say I was the first one there today and alot of...
I am definitely afraid of this occurring, I actually asked them again including the manager ,just now about having something and they are sticking to its fine, the manager has signed off on it and it has been looked at by the body shop and they are scheduling to repaint the door etc.
But still...
I just looked at his card , correct title is "service advisor" , but I have seen them called writer as well. And I agree on generally avoiding dealerships besides warranty service.
I scheduled an drop off a week out, and got told 14 days to look at my door seals for wind noise, then the service writer managed to dent my door with no eta on that either beside maybe 14 days. No loaners to give out.
I agree, they have in house collision center behind the dealership and he took it over there to get looked at I guess after the service manager looked at.
I was hoping for some written statement of what they wanted to do but all they were willing to give me is the service writers card and said...
