I am at 4k miles and waiting till June (June 2021 is truck's build date) to change it. It's a waste to do it at 3k and 5k miles. I would do 7500-10000 miles OR 1 year.
I changed my oil between 7500 to 10000 miles on my honda accord and it's still running perfect at 80k miles.
Still having this issue. So what I'm doing now is, delete the index, removed the USB stick and plugged into my PC, formatted it as FAT32 again and copied all songs from an album into root of the USB stick and go from there.
I had over 4000 192kbit mp3 (like 15GB). Now it's just like 10 songs...
Ok I disabled the Gracenotes and then went to reset media, it says to remove it and plug it back in.. so i did that.. with 10 second in between unplugging/plugging back in. Let's see if that works tomorrow when i start the truck.
Also i just realized there were extra files like Albumart jpgs...
I'll try them. Gracenotes - is that an app or something?
I just want to start my truck and it's playing from them without me doing anything as I did not have to do that with my old 2010 Ford Fusion and 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid.
Well.... oddly enough, bluetooth did not have this issue. I was using bluetooth with my phone for a long time before I decided to switch to USB to save battery life on my phone.
I started using USB stick full of MP3 for the truck. It works and all but almost every time I start the truck, it says can't find stick then starts playing from FM radio and then it detects the stick shortly after. Once in a whlie, it would play from USB after start. I tried three different...
Not sure if someone post about this but I was reading the owner manual on SYNC 3 and spotted this on page 348!
"Note: Remove the antenna mast before
entering a car wash. Make sure you firmly
screw in the mast when reattaching it to
maintain optimum radio reception."
Well thanks for the warning...
This might be the dumbest post on this forum. I have not tried it on my Ranger but is there a rev limiter if you press down gas pedal while in park? The old rangers has 3k RPM limiter.
