Seems like a difficult thing to screw up. You make a mold of an OEM pan, fill it with cast aluminum, polish a bit and send it off right? ? We'll see how it looks and proceed from there
Hot tip (at least for me):
Drill bigger and insert rivnuts. Can easily remove and plug the holes when you want to remove the rack. Just throw some good sealant on the threads
Is it though? My rear end blew up. I should clarify that recommendation is for D44s running 33s. He's seen the same thing lots of times on gladiators and similar vehicles with the same rear end
Just a heads up, I recently had my diff rebuilt at a great specialty shop since my pinion bearings went out. He strongly recommended anyone with a D44 replaces diff oil every 10-15k miles. 10k if you drive lots of highway, 15k otherwise.
