These threads always gets me needing to go and check my truck to see if I missing anything (like the third set of tie downs, and glove box damper and light). And you know what - damn it I got ripped off at the factory too by Ford. I thought I was buying a Raptor but they replaced it with a XLT...
Same as everyone else. Took my dealership branded license plate frame and dealer sticker off. Pay me and I will keep them on even if it is hideous- maybe.
Here is a story I had with a dealership once about their desire for free branding.
when I was buying a new 1990 Honda Civic I specifically...
thanks for the suggestions. I always see Levitttown ford mentioned on here. I should look into what shipping costs if they will ship here. You guys and gals have it “easy” when it comes to parts in the states it seems like. I know myself as well seeing some other Canucks on here, getting...
Tried to Plasti dip my emblems this weekend. “Tried” being the operative word. It (I) screwed up each time I tried to just peel away the Plasti dip off the lettering. Not sure what keeps going wrong - maybe sprayed too thick. Don’t know. And never a clean peel. After peeling, painting, peeling...
i am betting on a ranger. Makes sense. Having a Frunk (is that what it’s called ?) would be awesome for the ranger since storage sucks as is. But they have to put the hood struts back. Not sure how useful it is with a prop rod on a Frunk ? I guess they would have to reverse that deleted item...
There could be a bright economic side to having to stop more often and charge batteries. With the advent of better mileage has also lead to a demise to small towns in some places. So if we have to do more stops it might help revitalize these places. Yeah - I know, I have rose coloured glasses...
Crumb! Every time I read this thread I am needing to check to see what I have or don’t have on my 21 XLT. Check. Got visor mirrors. Now I can use it as an extra rear view mirror
Not sure why everyone is so hyped about new electric trucks. Everyone is soo behind the times. I got me an electric jeep wrangler and Chevy C10 already. Sure they drive slow and may only get a 1 or 2 miles per charge but they were first year production models. ?.
I didn’t think much of having struts for the hood but when I have to open the hood on my wife’s escape and use the prop rod, I have to admit - it feels a kind of cheap. Hood struts feels kind of luxury. Too bad they deleted this. I lucked out I guess - have aluminum front fenders (Apr 2021...
That looks good. I had thought of getting one but wasn’t keen on the idea of taping iit to the hood. Now when I see it on your truck makes me rethink it.
I went with the screw in Bugflector on this ranger. No problem in the past year. Had one on my 02F150 for 16 years - no problems either with...
I agree too. It is kind of neat and elegant. I also like the flag thing. Usually it’s duct tape and whatever red rag I got in the truck that I end up using.
glad it worked out and was not the truck itself. But I know of the PTSD you speak of regarding the Dodge. My experience was fleeting because I was only test driving them but I was left traumatized none-the-less. I test drove three 2019 Dodge Ram’s with the V6 and another 2017 with a hemi last...
I get those too. Trade in your 2021 ranger for a new 2022 at such and such % and your payments will only be 23.00 more. Except the dealership never has any Rangers in stock and why do I want to pay 23.00 more per month. Not sure how that’s a good deal at all?. They must think me dumb?
Lucky you. A large car company gave you money back. I didn’t get any money but I got another 3 month trial subscription recently for bringing my truck in for servicing. Did not expect that. But better than nothing so no complaints
