The FX4 is not a leveling strut. I don’t recommend changing to these expecting an upgrade. You would be better served buying other aftermarket options such as Bilstein, Fox, or Eibach. The wheels should be fine as is.
This may have some truth, but my 10 speed Silverado 1500 doesn’t have the lurchy shifts like my ranger did. I can probably count 5-6 times I’ve felt a shift in the 6 months I’ve been driving it.
