  1. Seat Cover Options

Leather seats are a must for me anymore. I love them and wouldn't want to cover them other than when I'm dirty or expecting to be. They are comfortable and easy to move on. I have the ARIES AUTOMOTIVE 3142-09 BLACK UNIVERSAL BUCKET SEAT COVERS for them and they are awesome. Waterproof, durable...
  2. Congratulations Grandpa Terry (@fod)!!!

I'm 51, semi-retired and my mom is still waiting for grandkids too. If I ever tell her I had a vasectomy at 28 she may disown me LOL
  3. Congratulations Grandpa Terry (@fod)!!!

Congrats @FoD! ?( Fulgly Old Dad? lol)
  4. You have 0 km to empty

What? It's better to pay $20 every 3 days, than $60 every 9 days? LOL Even if the gas station is directly on the route, just truning into the gas station and stopping at the pump 3x as often will be using more gas than going less frequently, and the extra start-up will use more fuel than doing...
  5. You have 0 km to empty

I left the house with 9 km to empty and 17km to the gas station. I had 10L in a Gerry can, just in case. Edit: I made it to the gas station without running out, so I don't know how far I had remaining. I wasn't paying attention to how much I put in, but looking at the credit card account I...
  6. You have 0 km to empty

I've had to respond to older diesels run dry, and get them going on site. I wouldn't risk it if I were driving a diesel.
  7. You have 0 km to empty

There can't be much down there yet, and there are filters to catch the crap.
  8. You have 0 km to empty

I normally kept my F150 above 1/4, but got below 0km a few times. The Escape was a company vehicle. A full tank was 260km and my commute was 120km/day. Fuel was at a different yard, out of my way, and a PITA. I drove it 5 years, got below 0km at least once a week, and ran it dry more than once...
  9. You have 0 km to empty

I pushed my F150 and Escape 60+km beyond a few times. Always with spare fuel in the back. Inquiring minds, want to know ;)
  10. You have 0 km to empty

I left the house with 9 km to empty and 17km to the gas station. I had 10L in a Gerry can, just in case.
  11. You have 0 km to empty

I live on the edge kids. Danger is my middle name.
  12. 70 MPH, ENGINE DIED!!

It will also force more rural people into urban centers where they can be monitored and controlled more effectively.
  13. 70 MPH, ENGINE DIED!!

I think the only way it doesn't happen is if they just ban independent drivers all together and force AI vehicles for all. Otherwise we'll be getting speeding fines based on the car computer, then too many or excessive speeds will make the vehicles inoperable for a period once you are back home...
  14. 70 MPH, ENGINE DIED!!

That's just your government reminding you it was a 65mph zone, lol. Edit to clarify, not speaking to "your" government as in USA, just in the "your" generality of governments being servants of the people.
  15. Reserved for Green Vehicles

I get it, I wasn't attacking you. I'm tired of all the EV BS companies and governments do mostly to maintain a lie about them being magic planet saving machines.
  16. Reserved for Green Vehicles

We did that too, and in hindsight I'm thinking he was probably paying anyway and just doing it for our entertainment.
  17. Reserved for Green Vehicles

Maybe he's just tired of all the virtue signalling that is spreading like a virus though our society. EVs park cheaper because they need a network of power lines and controls to convert fossil fuels to electricity, instead of doing it internally? It's ludicrous, lol.
  18. $300 for 4 tires?!

I've spent 30+ years doing 2k+miles/week, and never had a blow-out of significance. I've had flats, had commercial re-treads peel off, but never had a tire fail other than due to hitting a road hazard, and run many tires well beyond their recommended service life. I also spent many years in a...
  19. New vs. Old tires???

I agree the wear isn't enough to matter, and definitely get the match tires on one axle. Rotating I do side swaps as well. I move front tires to the back on the same side, and rear tires go to the opposite side on the front. That way there is no guessing about whether I'm on straight rotation...
  20. $300 for 4 tires?!

Good call, I meant to mention it and forget.
