@ylwjacket thanks for pictures. Really helped out. The power steering fuse is #19. FYI, I'm going to tap into #18 or #24 since both are ignition on and spares. Those 2 does not have any devices wired to. I'll update after finishing.
The side markers goes on when the headlights or parking lights are on. If I understood you correctly the panel won’t get power unless the side markers are on? I want to have the option of operating the switch panel with just the ignition ON.
@ReigleCM or others who have wired the AUXBEAM switch panel, I have a question about the ACC wire connection to fuse box. As I see it, there are only 3 options to wire that to the fuse box.
1: Wire to ENGINE compartment fuse box (w/ add-a-circuit), and jam the wire in between the fuse box...
Thanks. 100% DIY, https://www.eastdetailing.com/ will send you the cover of the combo you chose and the stitching items (with instructions). I watched couple of youtube videos and got it done in like 2-3 hrs. This was my first time doing something like this. It came out great imo.
I saw your last post, the thread was pointing towards having 4x4 to start with. You can add lockers, ARB has an option for 19+ Rangers that are around $1k. I saw someone here posted that he added the ARB locker for $3600 parts + install in California.
Lived in Los Angeles, and now central coast California. It was nice to see $3.79/gal for 87 a month ago, but short lived. I have never seen below $4 for the last 10-15 years in Cali. Now the cheapest here is $4.09/gal @Costco.
Finally. It was my bad actually.
I took the snorkel off again. The two inner screws that holds the snorkel from the inside were not threaded properly. Lucky I didn’t lose them when driving.
All good, no gap. Flush with the fender. ?
Thanks for the reply.
Well, I thought I did got rid of the gap. But, it’s back again. I just checked the fender. I tried to keep the snorkel snug without denting the fender to put the 2 bolts.
it closed the gap, but today it’s back. Your reply made me go check the snorkel again.
For Rangers with Mishimoto snorkel,
Gap is still there.
I loosened the two bolts holding the snorkel and retightened. It closed the gap at the time, but when I drive the gap has returned.
I agree with all of you. I would like to get a fancy/decked out topper for sure. But current situation does not support my wants.
After getting many quotes from dealers (all were above $3100 to start, some in the $4k range), I pulled the trigger on a LEER Legend topper with standard options...
