I wanted to get the fox 2.5 factory race coil overs for the front of my fx2 and eventually long travel them.
my questions are
1. I cannot find this coilover with a extended version of it.
2. If I get this coilover (standard length) would this be okay with the apg or Baja kits long travel...
Hey everyone
I wanted to build a long travel truck over the course of a few years. (piece by piece) I found this would be better for my situation instead of just doing it all at one time. I figure it would be better to do this now while the truck is still new rather than build a long travel...
I forgot what it’s called but I studied that in Psyc. It’s your brain it’s triggered to find things that you were not looking for before. When I had a Dodge Challenger, that’s all I would see. All of a sudden I see more and more challengers. Then when I got my ranger, I feel like I see more and...
Been wanting to go to Hungry Valley but have 2wd and no one to go with at the moment. Been wanting to test the lift and new tires. Or does anyone know of potential meets or if anyone would want to go.
Thanks!
edit: I know Hungry valley is not closed and we can wear mask if anyone is concerned...
I am selling my spare off my 2020 Ford Ranger. I upgraded to bigger tires and needed to change the spare. The spare tire is brand new and is a 255/70/16. Has never been used. It is stamped 06/20. Meaning it was made last year. Never buy tires over 4-6 years! Has a little bit of mud and dirt from...
Like many others, I am selling my AT tires cause I bought some bigger.
$250
I’m selling my Hankook Dynapro ATM all terrain tires. These came equipped on my new 2020 Ranger. So they have roughly 10,000 miles on them and have a tread life warranty of 50,000. That gives about 40,000 or about 4...
yeah, honestly it definitely has a smooth ride on the road. I would say almost similar to the fx shocks but you can feel better control and less body roll. I was actually looking for a more stiffer ride like the icons. I haven’t tested it in the dirt so I’m wondering if the shocks will absorb...
Hey everyone! I installed my fox/Ford performance suspension on my fx2. Just for the record! The Ford/fox DO fit the 2wd/rwd application. And yes, stage 3 was right, out of the box, it gave me 2 1/2 almost 2.5” inches of lift and not 2”.
Next up is nerf bars for the family ?
Well I do want to off road it. I rather hit the trails (back roads, fire roads) and deserts at higher speeds. Not so much rock crawling, climbing and mud. I know a 2wd with locker can achieve what I want. But if I can get away with high speed trail/desert driving with a mid travel or another set...
yeah I wanted to be sure. If I buy rims then they don’t fit, then have to buy spacers, then uca’s Etc. It ends up burning a hole in the wallet. The lift, tires and nurf bars set me back 3k. The wife is starting to catch on lol.
let us know how it goes! My lift put me at 2.25” to almost 2.5” I was thinking about a bigger tire but I just bought some. I think at this point now I will just wait. I think in the next couple years I want to look into long travel set up. Replace the coil overs and everything. As of now, it’s a...
Hi everyone.
I have done a lot of research and I’m not finding the exact answer I need. I have the 2020 ranger fx2 with Ford tuned fox coilover package. So my front sits slightly higher at about 2 1/4” to 2 1/2” compared to the 2” that it set at. I also have 265/70/17 general atx. I want it to...
Hey everyone! Wanted to post my new tires on my 2020 Fx2. Got them put on today. General Grabbers ATX 265/70/17. Stock no lift. I can actually feel that inch height in difference. Also, as someone has mentioned, they are pretty wide. Almost flush without needing spacers?
Fox stage 1 coil overs...
