What I have noticed is there are two parts made of aluminum that seem to commonly not fit. The hood is aluminum and the tailgate is aluminum. And on my Lariat both are misaligned. It makes me think it has something to do with that, but I am not sure.
My Ranger is paid for and I love it. At some point in maybe 5 years I may get rid of it and I will see what is out there. My last was a 2012 Tacoma TRD Off Road. When I drove the Ranger it wasn't even close as far as how much more comfortable it was. I am 6'3 and In the taco when looking...
I think weather plays a part possibly as well? In WI winters can be brutal and the air is so dry for a lot of the winter I have noticed more tire cracking sooner when I moved here ten years ago over when I lived in South Carolina. I am not sure this is accurate, but the extreme cold and dry...
One thing in the north many people will not buy a truck that isn't 4WD w/ locker. If you decide to sell it you will have less people interested. It might be worth getting it. Up to you what you need.
I grew up in western Nebraska and saw many, but only once "in" one and it ripped the roof off our house and it was scary as hell. One thing our house basically had concrete bunker for a basement. solid concrete box so as long as down there would probably be ok with a direct hit. I am not...
I will say getting a XLT tremor a year ago for 38K was as cheap as anyone could have gotten one. I thought the base price was like 42K? Was it a negotiation or was that advertised price? Good work on that.
So I have a 2020 Lariat FX4 bought new and I love it. Had a Tacoma before and 2 years in I am loving my Ranger. At work a guy was asking if I wished I had waited because the new Ranger is almost here. I know the interior is kind of spartan and I am sure the new one will be great, but I kind...
This is an older Ranger review from Outside magazine. It really breaks down what the Ranger is all about and I remember reading it back in '19 by an actual daily user as opposed to a review by someone who hops in it for an hour or two. May be interesting to some people...
Agree. I grew up in Nebraska and I admit I switched to Toyota in '99 because I had problems with my Fords. My last truck was a 2012 Tacoma TRD off road and sold it and got the Ranger...which is truly a vastly superior vehicle. The Toyota thing I think a lot of it is mind set. Many people...
I am not surprised by this. I lived in Perth for 3 years in the early tens and the Ranger is considered a better vehicle than Hilux there. The US version Ranger is basically a better version than what was in Australia. It was a no brainer for me to purchase one.
