If you haven’t updated your tunes lately, livernois just told me they updated there 91 to 93 soft shift and performance tune in December. I just drove with the soft shift this morning and it's very smooth.
I was driving the other day, saw another ranger, looked like a 2019. He had a bull bar and a sports rack on it. I pull up next to him, he was checking out my ranger too. Then i sped off. Usually when I see another ranger driver, they don't pay attention.
Here's how I did mine. Probably cut to much but can't really tell after the case is installed. I first used at dremel but it was taking long so I got heavy duty scissors. Then I got to some tough parts so I used hedge clippers which helped alot.
I'm not sure if mine is from Ford but probably. I bought my truck lightly used and has duraliner in it. The problem with mine is the corners are to bulky for it to swing in.
Now I have another issue because I started putting the mount in prior to finding out I need to trim and now the top...
I received a swing case from Xmas for driverside. I was wondering if anyone installed one with the plastic bedliner? It wants me to trim the bedliner but I'm not sure how much to cut off. Would appreciate pictures if anyone could provide.

Yeah, the soft shift tune is pretty good. Don't feel any hesitation when getting from 50 to 60. I haven’t tried the tow tune yet but I'm planning to give it a try in the future.
I just got the livernois tune. I was considering ford performance one but I would be stuck with 93 octane and only one tune. So I tried the performance tune and it's powerful, I love it. However I noticed it shifts kind of hard. So today I switched to the soft shift tune that was recommended by...
Since they sent me the performance ones first, i installed it first. I'll stick with it for a little awhile. Then try out the soft shift. He told me they turn off the auto start stop by default now.
Received the tunes today and took it for test drive. I could definitely tell the difference. My neighborhood is next to the highway and is the only way out so I have to get to 70mph fast. With stock, it usually struggles when it hits 50, it still gets there but I feel like I'm putting to much...
Thinking about buying the ford performance tune and it comes with an air filter. I'm due for an oil change soon. So should I just have them change it during the service? Can I do the tune prior to installing the filter without messing anything up? Also the instructions talk about torquing the...
I bought mine in September and it has been doing good but I think it's a bit overpriced regarding over quality of the product. For example the rods have fallen off while driving which can be put back on. The drain tube keeps coming off, I had to secure it with a zip tie which helped. But when...
On my wife's mustang which has the 2.3 ecoboost, the service department recommended to clean the carbon out at around 40k miles. I only have 4900 miles on my Ranger so it's still running great.
The average isn't correct. I'm leaving it on with remote start. I need to do more high way to get it to get a better average. Before I did a reset it was 22mpg
Question. When I push on the gas pedal, it sounds kind of funky. Not like there's an issue, but just weird. Is that the bov making the sound? It's done that since I bought the truck.
