  1. Bronco Reveal

I like it a lot. And love the possibility of a manual (wish the ranger had one). Little disappointed that it only comes in the two door, but I get it. I wouldn't mind having a base 2 door manual just for another fun toy. Don't know if my wife will go for it though. I'm not getting rid of...
  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I think he's saying if you leave it in drive, press the button to show the gear like you mentioned, then press the minus button down, you can limit what your truck shifts to. It will still shift like an automatic, but only up to the gear you have locked out. Also, you don't have to hold it...
  3. Metal in first oil change

Here's a report from my mustang, if you've never seen one.
  4. Metal in first oil change

If you're seeing less metal, that's definitely a good sign. As far as darkness goes, these turbo motors get the oil pretty dark rather quickly. At least they do in the mustang world. I wouldn't worry too much about that. If the fuel has you worried, get it analyzed at blackstone. They can...
  5. Help! Why did this pull out?

Hmm super weird. 2019 xl 4x4 crew and I had the ball bearings. Maybe somebody else here knows more? Either way, glad you were able to figure it out.
  6. Help! Why did this pull out?

I did the same thing. Don't panic. You probably won't get it to slide back together. You can try, but you'll have to take it out and put it back together. You can do it in the truck, but it's much easier this way. After everything else is off / out of the way, use a pry bar and gently snap...
  7. California Help me out here 275 ?? Or 265

Not extreme off roading by any means. Although, I think it would handle some pretty nasty terrain. I've really only been on a couple gravel woods roads. I will say my grabbers throw stones terrible. They get lodged in the tires then fling out at speed on the highway. I've got nerf steps...
  8. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yep pressures are all good. I didn't check the core, but I will. I don't think I angered anybody ha but you never know. I live in a pretty rural area where everyone knows everybody. I don't even lock doors most of the time, so I'm skeptical on that, but I guess anything is possible these days.
  9. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Thanks Phil, will do. To be honest, I didn't look in them to see if they were even the seal type or not. I'll definitely get some replacements. Just thought it was real weird that only one side was loose.
  10. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Something weird. Yesterday, I pulled into the driveway after work. Went around to the passenger rear to get my son out. Looked down and noticed my valve stem cap was missing on the passenger rear. Checked the rest of the tires. Passenger front was almost off. The two on the driver's side...
  11. Metal in first oil change

Large pieces like that would be alarming to me. Every oil change I've done on my 18 mustang has been sent to blackstone for analysis. Good piece of mind for me for $28. You will always have metal in the oil (talking small particles here), but as long as it trends downward with each oil...
  12. Can we run E85 in our Rangers

These motors love e gas. You just have to tune for it. Or possibly run auxiliary systems depending on the e level. My closest station is 40+ miles away, so it doesn't work financially for me. We have a new station going in where I work in town. If they have it at the pump, I'd definitely...
  13. California Help me out here 275 ?? Or 265

I have 275's, 2.5 RC level, 18 offset wheels. Grabber atx tires. I get a touch of rub, in reverse, full lock. I've just been too lazy to try to adjust the crash bars, or remove them. No issue going forward, just reverse.
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Anxious to hear your results on the wax. I keep looking at it everytime I'm in walmart. I wanted to try chem guys "ceramic" stuff, but it's a little steep at $40. This might be a good replacement. And sorry to hear about the old ride, that's terrible.
  15. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Pulled a buddy's boat over the weekend. I should have got some pictures, but I forgot. Bout 100 miles round trip. Pulled really well, surprised me. MPG's definitely took a hit though. Went from about 21 down to 15. Still not bad though in my mind for all the hills I pulled.
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Kinda the way I'm leaning too right now.
  17. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Looks good! Maybe I'll have to go out to the driveway after work and stare and visualize for a bit. A beer or two might help.
  18. Antenna

I have the two inch and reception is average at best (rural Pa). I mostly listen to podcasts though so no harm. I just hated the look of the stock one. Looks like a unicorn coming down the street ha.
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yep that's what I did. Can use a heat gun, but a hair dryer on low would be much more forgiving. Use a plastic credit card to get it started if needed. I use 50/50 iso alcohol with water to clean the area afterwards. Then your choice of wax/sealant on top for protection.
  20. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I haven't decided if I wanna remove that or not. Gotta see some more pictures of it I guess. I don't want to regret that one.
