I thought his review was quite good actually and very unbiased. I had the same feelings about the interior too. Overall it looks great but the hard plastic door shells and the area around the HVAC controls/shifter are just plain ugly and they should have at least done something different for the...
I sure hope so because I would love a Ranger Raptor. Current Raptor is too big and gets too expensive for me. Adding any of the options packages quickly gets you to $70k.
But on the same token who makes a competitor to the F150 Raptor? The current Raptor is really in a class of its own and I don't feel like the TRD Pro or ZR2 offer all that much compared to their lower trim counterparts (Z71 and TRD Off Road).
I'm not too familiar with Ford models in other geographies - are there other markets where the F150 Raptor and Ranger Raptor are sold together? From a business perspective, I'm honestly not sure it makes sense because it's difficult to position the two models because a lower priced Raptor may...
I've been following this guy on Instragram for a few while now, even before I knew the Ranger was coming to the US. He's from Australia and has an awesome Ranger - he wheels the piss out of if too. Really digging the look of his truck. Is this the same Lightning Blue we're getting?
That really bothers me too (seems like all car makers do that). Wish they would just do a black headliner but these days it seems like that is left for the more premium/luxury trims and brands.
Those aren't too bad but only come in 20s. You see those a lot in my area on lowered trucks. If you like that style there is also the Fuel "Tech" that comes in smaller sizes and has a bit of lip without the brolocks.
One of my all-time favorites is the SCS "F5". Has a very clean, classic 5...
Have some time to kill at work so I decided to start browsing potential wheel options. Bigger tires and aftermarket wheels will probably be one of my first mods as I'm not particularly thrilled with any of the OEM offerings; they all look too car-like for my tastes.
These are my current top...
The bundles and packages and options are doing exactly what they were designed to do; get you to spend more money while reminding you that you need to go bigger and more expensive to get all the bells & whistles (Ranger vs F150).
I'd still be interested to see why auto manufacturers phased out driver's side grab handles. All of my trucks and SUVs from the 90s to early 2000s had them. And it seems to be something unique to the US market as the same platform in other geographies have both handles. And this isn't something...
I agree the rear slider really should have been power and it would be nice to at least have the sunroof as an optional add-on.
I looked up CR Laurence and it looks like they make a power rear slider for the T6 Ranger which is currently $623. Not a bad price but it invovles replacing the entire...
This is the reason auto makers have slowly made the driver side grab handle disappear all in the name of saving a few bucks; because they think people don't care. I do care. It's annoying as hell not having a grab handle while the passenger side does. Our 2014 4runner doesn't have one either...
