I'm glad both of you did the work I could never do. This weekend it will move from on top of my freezer and onto the truck. That video helped me understand what I have to do to get it in the truck and love the warnings/watch our for info. That stuff might be in the instructions... but seeing it...
My door open in the morning noise is pretty loud and always has been. I thought it was just an over jealous fuel prime. Only recently learned about the wastegate wakeup call as well.
They have always been super quick to answer my stupid as hell questions. I am pretty sure they think I am a total dipshit but they humor me. Grats on getting it quick. Mine was stuck waiting on a chip for a good bit before I got mine, but it was worth the wait. Let me run all the low octane...
XL/XLT not stupid bright lights.. but still brighter than stock. Cargo lights for sure are way brighter. I didn't see the part number on anything I still have; just the description and SKU.

Just opened the box. Looks like it was made by a major company with a huge team of people and top notch logistics (packing).
Very impressed.
Part of me is afraid to see how much fluid my trans has been running on. Dealership "checked it" when I complained of problems.. said it was fine and...
I am curious how many of the 187 (as of this post) that said yes will actually buy it now that it is being built. It seemed like the first batch were gone within an hour of them going up. I was slow and can't claim first to buy it. Might have been able to claim that if I realized my work wifi...
You didn't know the late 21 XLT trim came standard with some sort of a squeak?
My Nov 21 purchase had two; one of the mounts for the bed wasn't torqued down right (dealer found/fixed after having it for 2ish weeks?) and the bird like squeaking from the e-brake junction thing (I fixed that...
27k and a ton of pad left on the back. I expected more to be gone based on how TC works on this thing, but I also don't hot rod it all the time. So, my shenanigans that trigger TC are not enough to murder the pads on mine. A good bit of that 27k is highway driving and not many hard panic stops...
Got a bit of hate for a stupidly dirty engine when I posted pics of either the cover or that afe intake thing. So.. sorta cleaned it. Didn't go crazy with the scrubbing/water under the hood... but it is not totally nasty now.
Did they do a facelift on that; it seems to look way better now. The escape got a bit weird for a bit. I hate to say it.. but I really like the idea of that with the 2.0 vs the 1.5. Id say maybe in a bit but I think the Escape is going away soon?
I am a weird one. I prefer the key to the push button. Not sure why; never liked the idea of the push button. I also love the handle based ebrake. I also wouldn't be mad if the Ranger had a column shifter.... :-/
Good luck with the install. I think with a bit of trim stuff, parts, wiring, and...
Random input - if you grab this.. great time to get a black ford emblem to match the black grill. Due to where the screws are that hold it on. Super easy install for the emblem and grill in general.
I just did the same for the same grill to get rid of the grey/silver. The black looks so much...
Not sure where the pressure sensor is or how the oil lines are run... but
Could the turbo failing have caused enough of a drop in pressure to trigger a CEL?
Understand the other way around is more likely, but... maybe?
Oldish thread but... finally got a reaction from another Ranger and going down I10.
Shadow black with the black trim stuff and what looked like darker than stock tint. One of the black aftermarket exhausts. Didnt see it well enough to ID it but it was more than a tip and rattle can I think...
Most people seem pretty happy with all the canned tune options out there. Roughly the same cost. They all seem to be pretty safe unless your luck is bad. Not to far off power wise I'd guess staying safe on 93 for daily driving.
If I was shopping again; I'd listen more to those who have run a...
Running LMS 91/93. Just got thru the hottest August on record in Texas. It didn't explode. So... there is that.
Best endorsement on the power difference was the first time my wife drove it after the tune. She walked back in and... direct quote:
"What in the f#%$ is wrong with you".
So... it...
Other things are far more likely to break first as long as you treat it right, correct oil, and change the oil on time. (For me that is 5k because drive like clown at times, heat, and humidity)
