Reviving this as I just ran into this. Didn't update for 4 days. Thanks to threads I read on this site I knew to pull fuse #9, I checked it with an ohm meter and it was fine. Put it back in and then went to the menu and it showed it connecting to LTE and things seemed to work again.
Yay...
Cool. I think the concern has been around overcharging but in looking at the charts, I think the % is just a target voltage. And, based on what I've seen over the last couple of months, I don't think I'm cooking my battery.
There is a way to disable it for sure as I did it for my nephew on his F150. I've resisted doing it on my Ranger but I might do it at some point.
For me, I kind of like having BMS as I do like the fact that it will turn off things when it thinks the battery is low. And, I think having SOC...
I never disabled auto stop start, I bumped SOC to 90, then 95 and finally 100. I'm at 100 now. I, like you, generally just press the button to turn it off but I kind of like being able to use it when I know I'll be stopped for a longish light.
I have the NOCO Genius 5 and I used that to...
I should have mentioned that I have replaced the battery too to no avail. Just hoping that maybe someone else has run into this with an inventive solution but fearing I need to get another. Thanks for the links on purchase. Will compare to what my parts friend can do.
Has anyone had their key fob buttons stop working consistently? For my 2019, I’ve consistently used one and in the last few months it seems to take many presses for the unlock button to work. I checked the battery voltage and it’s 3.12 volts so the battery is fine. I pulled the contacts out...
Hmm, well since I did take out the stock XL H6 battery and installed the Lariat H7 battery I did change that but it didn't 0 it out. When you say run a NEW PROFILE do you mean to not accept the saved profile when I first connect it?

I used to see those higher voltages with the old battery and my SOC set to 95% mostly in the cold mornings (40-50 degrees) or colder. When I first put in the new battery and saw the voltage swings I'd sometimes see the voltage briefly go to 14.5 but since setting it to 100% is seems to have...
Interesting. My 2019 STX (XL) was set to 75%. With the new Lariat battery and desulfator it's now set to 100%. I had it at 95% and saw the wild voltage swings down in the 12's. Those persisted a bit after I set it to 100% but now I don't see less than 13.7 or so possibly because it's quickly...
I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted/read this. Recap on my 2019 STX, I've kept Auto Stop/Start enabled but I mostly push the button when I start it. Battery SOC set to 95%. I've not been checking battery condition for a number of months but in the last week I noticed when I...
This was me a couple of months ago when I saw this. As you can see from my post back then I went out to put a safety cable in place just in case when the hose broke off in my hands. So, I had to take action that day.
I highly recommend looking into replacing this hose before it breaks.
That was me. I gave them a terrible review on the Apple App Store and I got an email telling me that they where bringing it back. I replied to the email asking when but they have yet to respond to tell me. So, who knows, I used the https://www.ford.com/support/service-history/ link in a...
As mentioned by @ariline tech the problem is that Ford's service system has the "base part" classified in certain ways. If the "base part" number (the middle part of the part number) isn't classified correctly (likely because of some idiot at corporate misclassifying it) then your claim gets...
I've been at 95% for quite some time now with no ill effects. I think 95% and the desulfator have really helped my battery. I havent gotten really high CCA readings yet but they've been right around 700. But auto stop start works when I don't hit the button and everything else acts normal and...
I'm not sure I'd consider anything overkill given the possible failure mode. I think I'm the one that called it vacuum line quality since that fateful Sunday when I just touched it it broke off in my hands. The hose I used to replace it was a heater hose that has the fabric reenforcement and...
Yea I found something else online that suggests that with my manual Climate control it will do max AC when warm and defrost/heat/rear defrost when cold. I think the cold temp is around 40* F, not sure what the warm temp is. Just went back in and turned on the rear defrost too.

Following up here since my 2019 didn't have the "Climate Ctrl" option so I fired up Forscan and went into IPC. Here is what I found:
So I opened it up and set it to Enabled:
After that, I went back into the Truck Info -> Remote Start Menu and was greeted with:
So , no need to...
Interesting. My 2019 has the 101A and tow package. I too have the remote mirrors (not power folding) so it seems our trucks are similarly equipped. So maybe they added this to the later year trucks? I'll need to renew my forscan license and then I can check out what my settings are.
