It’s getting around the time for me to replace the break pads on my 2019 Ranger, anyone have any recommendations of good brands (trying to avoid ordering from Ford for obvious pricing reasons) I’ve read some mixed reviews on Powerstop brand ceramic pads, also good things about Brakeperformance...
Has anyone upgraded or changed their break pads yet? It’s going to be time for mine soon and with the added tune power I think some better better stopping power would be a good idea, might start up a different thread. Please Let know if ya’ll had some good/bad experiences with different brands...
Forgot about that, you think I can just reply to my request and ask them to add it? If not, it’s no big deal, although pushing the auto stop button to turn it off every time you start is kind’ve annoying, but at this point, I don’t even notice anymore haha!
Calibrator arrived yesterday afternoon. I uploaded stock tune to laptop and requested all 5 tunes from Livernois this morning. I did talk with Anthony from Livernois and if all goes well, will be tuned up for the weekend!
Once I have it checked out with my mechanic, I’ll report back, I’m sure it’s nothing, just one of those “characteristic” things that can occur on some Rangers.
Thank you for checking! I think I’m just going to let it be, I have a local guy Lowery’s Garage is the place, guy does really good work on both mine and wife’s vehicles for years, I’ll just stop by and see if he can confirm there’s nothing g major going on. Also, tuner is arriving Saturday...
I would say this is almost identical to what I’ve been hearing! Plastic on plastic scraping/disc loading would best describe it. It doesn’t bother me too much, but I was just worried (as we tend to be with our trucks) that something more sinister was happening haha. If yours has been okay for a...
Appreciate the insight! I thought the same based on what I was reading, but both ac and heater work fine, blows great from all vents, but I hear it most from the vent shown in the video, the one to the right of steering wheel. I just find it odd that it happens even when I don’t have the ac or...
I actually considered mice but ruled that out because it’s been doing it for over a month now. I figured by now they would’ve had their fix or something would’ve stopped working.
Looking for some help, I bought my 2019 ranger used with about 24k miles in early Jan. And have since out about 1k on it. I love the truck but I’ve noticed an odd sound coming from inside the cab (noticed it about a month ago) at first I thought might be coming from engine but popped the hood...
Off topic and I did post it in a different thread (no reply yet) so I won’t flood this one but anyone familiar with this sound? Just kinda desperate, I got my truck used only has about 24k miles on it and I put about 1k since I got it in Jan. Want to make sure everything is tip top prior to...
Did you get the Mishimoto intercooler? Cant remember if they had that on sale during Black Friday, they make a black one that I can’t stop looking at! I would’ve jumped on that as well but just got the truck early January. You’ll have to let us know the difference it makes, I know for us AZ’ers...
Okay so I have a strange one (at least to me) I’ve been randomly hearing this little light knocking almost sounds electronic too like when a disc is loading to a gaming system! Only happens when truck is parked or stopped and I thought engine had to be on but I was able to duplicate the sound by...
I feel like I might need to take the day off work once I’ve flashed the tunes, there’s very important testing and research that needs to be done! Yes, also a perfect side road I know of as I’m really close to 51st Ave and 101, also so I’ve heard :sunglasses:
I honestly probably will never tow in the immediate future, but I do plan on asking for all 5 of the tunes as well just in case. So glad everyone loves this tune, just makes waiting that much harder!!
