I had a similar incident with one of my cars. The body shop did an excellent job (re-applied the clear coat too) and even after 8 years you couldn't tell that side had been re-painted. The key is to have the work done by a really good paint & body shop.

Yes, Ford's order tracking website does that (just sends you back to the same page) with some degree of regularity. Sometimes it doesn't work for days on end.

My blend date was 6/7 and I was able to see my window sticker on 6/1. At the time folks were seeing the window sticker show up about a week before the blend date which lined up with what I saw. Maybe, Ford has tightened the time frame?

I'd check back with your dealer to see what the hold up is. There may be something about your order that is causing the hold up. You may also want to get from them the priority code for your order. When I ordered mine (should be here next week), I went through with the dealer and the options...

I use that link and it is very unreliable (sometimes doesn't work for days). Keep trying. You'll get it eventually.

Do you have the window sticker? There are a number of websites (including Ford's when it works) that allows you to check the status of your order.

It has been waiting in "built" status for 3 weeks...this morning I checked and it's marked "in transit". I'm hoping it goes well since it's being shipped by rail. How was yours shipped?

Thanks. The only thing I can think of is that depending upon options/trim level, it may get held up. But that's just a guess.

Just found out that my Ranger has been shipped (by rail). So the wait should be over soon.
