So every one of these 18,000 vehs is a factory order currently stuck "in production?"

Does this apply to vehicles stuck "in production?" Do these vehicles have a VIN? My order just went into production this week - I can't figure out if that means a Ranger is getting pulled from a lot (and getting finished), or if one is starting from scratch. thx!

Rec'd my VIN on Jun 23 with a build date of Aug 15th (so far that's the latest build date I've seen posted). Three weeks later (today) ppl get a VIN and a build date of Aug 1st. Go figure.
