? thank you. Now why the hell won't it let me do that! Keeps saying "can't enter this content here". I'm in my mid 30s and fairly tech savvy... or at least I thought I was ?.
Posted this in the wrong thread earlier... installed my Bilko Auto 12v plug in the bed... and gave it a wash.
Sorry if it's bad form to repost the same thing. If I could figure out how to add GIFs it would be the lady from Game of Thrones ringing the bell and yelling "Shame" ?
I don't dislike the look of the wheels. For whatever reason my mind screams 17s... also more negative offset. Currently have 1.5" spacers, going +18 offset, which should land me about the same.
They may be available in the next few weeks ?.
Top right: newly installed Bilko Auto 12V plug. (Not shown, pigtail option capped and tied up under side wall.)
Bottom left: the dummy plug from the harness for the 12v outlet- my son insisted on both wire and zip tying it to the tie down hook incase I need it later. ?‍♂️
Gave a much needed...
Haha no worries. I definitely want to get one of those... turns out a chopped up wire hanger, pair of long needle nose and some electrical tape will work in a pinch... certainly not as elegant, but all anyone gets to see is the end result lol. Thanks for the tip.
And ditch lights are in!... well almost... I couldn't find my On-Off-On switch to finish the job, so no test run was completed. Also didn't check to make sure the wipers clear, which I recall some people had issues with??
Routing switch wires through the grommet worked well.
May end up...
No. I just logged in to check order status... threaded studs "in stock"... engine cover "-". Not gonna hold my breath based on what I'm hearing from everyone else here.
Why put it on sale???
Knowing my luck, I'll likely end up with no cover, one of two required threaded inserts and a useless mounting bolt for a water pump. I'm 20% there... sounds like a win to me! Nailed it ?
Thank you both... in a rush, I threw the two "frequently bought with this item" products in the cart with my cover thinking they were the studs and nuts... turns out I ordered the threaded studs (correct for cover installation) and what turns out to be some bolt for the water pump ?‍♂️... I will...
My 2022 Lariat did not come with one, as has been covered by others here.
So are we saying adding the cover is required by Ford to avoid voiding warranty, but even with it installed, it doesn't prevent water from collecting and causing the problem??
I may have misread one of these comments at...
Gonna try for ditch light install today.
What do you guys think of routing (making a new hole) through the wire bundle grommet passing into the engine bay? There is plenty of real estate to pop some wires through to the side of the hood release cable. Any reason not to go this route? Looks free...
Worked like a charm! Thank you for the recommendation!

I had a '21 Subaru Outback Onyx XT for about 1.5 years... it was great, awesome daily driver. Had a 2 inch lift from LP Aventure, Primitive Racing Skid Plates, Falken Wildpeak Trails (235/65R17) on Motegi MR139s, Diode Dynamics SSC2 Ditch lights (not pictured), and a few other goodies. My only...
Good idea!... the post traumatic stress of getting that splash guard off with the crash bars (even unbolted) is already sinking in ?. Though I'm sure it'll be quicker second time around.
May run out tomorrow and see what I can dig up. Thanks.
Not gonna lie... having OE crash bars and splash guards, this was a real PITA!!! But I finally fought to get my new Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Fog light kit installed!
Love the backlit accent.
These things nearly make the oem led headlights unnecessary. They're so bright!
Also couldn't adjust...
Yea i certainly can't complain. I got that cover at a steal under the circumstances all thanks to their CS and warranty.
I've had solid hardtop and tri-folds on previous trucks, so this felt like it could be a bit of a gamble, but overall this cover has been very nice. Checked all the boxes and...
