Stage3motorsports has the afe kit with oil. I ordered mine straight from afe but they also sell the kit too. I only use amsoil so I just got the cover and added the sight glass.
I just put the AFE rear diff cover on. I chose that one as the drain plug is in the very bottom of the cover and I got the optional sight glass so I can keep an eye on the fluid.
I did several times since it was very far fetched but MT to AZ you lose alot of elevation so you are essentially driving “downhill” on my way home I was lucky to get 19…..so theres that. Hahaha
Premium Fuel, FPP Tune, CV Fabe hot pipe, roush intake, pedal commander on 285/70-17’s with no front air flaps from the fx4 package and I avg around 21.5 in the summer and 19 in the winter. I would imagine when if I had stock wheels on there if I would be up in the mid 20’s hovering around...
AFE Diff Cover went on today. That wraps up my drivetrain service minus the trans. AMSOIL all around, sorry I’m an amsoil guy dont roast me toooo hard. Surprised how dark the diff was at only 25k miles. Mostly just my mind playing tricks on me. Went with the afe one as it has a drain plug, my...
Clearly I won the battle against the animals. That was the focuses 3rd and final accident with an animal. Both vehicles were hit just right that it broke all the welds on the front frame supports and cores. They fixed the scooby and I sold right after.
When we lived in MT “Smoke Season” was an every year thing. Half if July all of August the air was filled with smoke, smell of campfire, and it looked like the apocalypse. Only time in my life I get allergies is when the smoke is rolling.
This is what happens with un-regulated forests.
Scotty Kilmer is not the best source of reliable info.
That being said I rotate every 15,000 miles since the ranger and my truck before ran same psi in front and rear tires.
Just replaced my Front Diff and Transfer Case fluid. Front diff looked new, Transfer case was surprisingly dark for only 25k. Went to do the rear diff and bam mine does not have a drain plug. Wondered why my fill plug had a magnet on it. Guess a new diff cover in my future, was gonna get one...
I’m a Dave Ramsey type of guy. Shouldn’t finance a depreciating asset. I’d tell him to save up and buy outright.
If he does finance the later months will offer better rates, Sept to Dec rates will dip or manufacturers will offer low rates to move model year leftovers.
Who knows with this...
Looking forward to the final product!!! This is what I need in my life ?, looking forward to a mystical place I can send my money too and receive the magical trans dipstick ford lacked to include.
I got around to putting my Ford Performance Tremor Flares on today. And got my Pedal Commander plugged and rocking. Have FPP Tune and City +3 is a perfect setting for me.
Thats an understatement!!! Hahaha. Stones and rocks stick to these things like glue!!!! Probably flung a few out while someone was tailgating me and cracked a windshield ir two…..
I had them on my Tundra in a 285/70-17. Had them for all of about 2 months.
#1. They pick up the smallest stones on the road and fling them all over the place, they literally are like stone collectors
#2. They took an ungodly amount of weight to balance.
#3. They are not that heavy but damn...
