  1. Need some help.

If you install the hitch yourself (Which I recommend. Its usually only 4 bolts) Make sure to use red loctite when you do.
  2. Need some help.

Correct. And I believe you do have a 4 pin connector already, but I have a tow package, so I can't verify.
  3. Need some help.

Here is a wiring harness that will give you the 7 pin connector. You need it if installing a TBC. May want it regardless.
  4. Need some help.

Here is a class 3 hitch ( Higher numbers rated for more weight)
  5. Need some help.

A hitch should be fairly cheap on amazon or etrailer. You dont need a trailer brake controller, but it is recommended for towing over 3000 lbs. All that does is activate brakes on the trailer when braking. If the trailer you are hauling doesnt have brakes, a TBC won't do anything anyhow. I am...
  6. Central Valley off roading

I should be available on either of those weekends. Let's see who else chimes in.
  7. Engine Wash Advice

Ya! It really was as easy as they said. I kept thinking of the stupid commercial " Spray, wipe and rinse" Except this was spray, rinse, and wipe lol. Half of the 20 min time was just letting the engine brightener sit before wiping.
  8. Engine Wash Advice

So.....based on this thread, I decided to order some of the s100 total cycle wash, and the engine brightener. Here are the results on my wife's Honda Pilot. Before: After: Total time was about 20 minutes. Needless to say I'm sold.
  9. Central Valley off roading

Let's get it planned. Hollister Hills in July. How does July 24th work? (I just picked a random Saturday to get the conversation started, feel free to suggest something else) Hopefully, I'll have my bumper and winch installed by then.
  10. Get a Ranger for the kids!

I made the mistake of showing the ranger and f-150 raptor to my wife. Now she wants one for our son, lol.
  11. Central Valley off roading

So, what are opinions on a Hollister hills trip in mid/late July? I am not sure of availability, but they do have camping. It could be overnight for those that wanted, or just a day trip if people needed to head home the same day.
  12. Central Valley off roading

I dont think the group would revolve around any 1 person's location. A peraon can look at a given event and come if it interests them, or not if it doesn't. Once I have my bumper and winch, I plan on hitting some random service roads and scoping out some good campgrounds. Hopefully find some...
  13. Central Valley off roading

If you see my previous post, I mentioned some spots. Feel free to vote for 1, or give another option. As far as the date, I think we are looking at July from reading everyone's posts, but it is still open. Feel free to suggest a date that you are free.
  14. Central Valley off roading

I'm all for an off-road meet up, just need input from those who are interested. I have a full set of recovery gear, but still no bumper/winch. I ordered it in April, but they are custom built, so said it will take a while.
  15. Red Line Over Forward Camera

It also explains why it is at an angle and not straight.
  16. Red Line Over Forward Camera

I dont think its a heater wire at all. Its a calibration line. When I pulled the covers I accidently moved the camera slightly. Shortly after, I got all sorts of warnings, and then the system shut off. I had to do a recalibration in forscan to fix. The line is how it knows how it is positioned.
  17. Post your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

If you have someone that will do it cheap, it might be the way to go. But as long as you are patient, and have a decent set of tools, you'll be ok. Others have said it was easy, but that was not my experience at all.
  18. Post your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

    1. Yes I did power brake. On a side note, I do have a 4.8sec 0-60, but didn't go the full 1/4 mile, so who knows what the time could have been. 2. No CEL issues at all. I did not do any wrapping. The only loud part is what comes out of the tailpipe. 3. No, the install was not easy at all. For...
  19. Post your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

Here is my best post-tune run so far.
  20. Builtright bed rack installed.

It's a little pricey, but adds tons of versatility.
