I noticed yesterday that the Navigation area of the Lariat dash cluster is getting fed info from Android Auto. Pretty sure it didn't do that when I bought the truck. Not sure which update would have changed that.
I can see the name of the road that I'm currently on, the name of the next turn...
I find that the ranger's tow/haul mode also kicks up the engine braking assist when you are light on the brake pedal. Excellent downhill braking in the Ranger.
I noticed that the tongue weight of that trailer is 890lbs dry and not including hitch etc. The Ranger's max tongue weight is 750lbs.. be careful with that thing
I have one for use with a Jayco 174BH and it helped quite a bit with sway in wind and around semi's on the highway. Sway wasn't a serious issue but it was noticeable enough to make me feel like spending some money to address it. I don't even think about sway anymore with the Andersen, and it's...
My plan for stuff like this is to occasionally get out the wire brush and spray on some rust converter. Easy to do when under there for other tasks as the years add up. Whether or not the rust actually an issue, I figure less rust is better, and it'll look nicer in black :)
Not sure why more...
I went through the car wash the other day and they'd put in a new dryer so powerful it pushed in the roof and headliner temporarily.
Anyway you may be able to just push up on the headliner where the dent is, depending how bad the dent is (hard to tell from the images). Just throwing it out...
I've been noticing more and more personal jabs/insults in the hotter topics lately as well. I've unwatched quite a few threads that I would have otherwise liked to keep up with because of it. Sometimes it literally makes me feel sick.
It's usually the guys who feel that they have more...
Unfortunately unwatching a thread doesn't stop the site from notifying me when I get quoted, so I'mmmm baccck! I will have a good one. You have a good one as well!
To all that are stuck saying that EVs and green energy don't work etc etc. You're missing the point. Change is needed. EVs and...
ITT: A lot of people who don't know what the hell they're talking about, but have a lot to say about it (and yes, I'm a hypocrite). Even those in related fields are pigeon-holed in their views and everything is anecdotal. This thread is waste of time if you ask me, so I'm out!
I was referring to the USA but I think we have it alright with JT. Could definitely be better but at least he has mostly competent advisors and mostly listen to them.
The problem up here is that people like to blame the Prime Minister not realizing that he's just one of many ministers and not...
Another hot take - I think there are a lot of incorrect assumptions about how the government is approaching this.
I'm not in a position to really say so myself since I don't want to read all of the paperwork (I'm a bad person), but from what I have read (I did get sucked into it once), much of...
But is anyone arguing that fossil fuels are going to be replaced overnight, or that the green technologies we have access to now have peaked?
It's a transition. We're in a transition. The loudest arguments I keep hearing are implying that we can't just flip a switch overnight.. but no one is...
That's another area where things keep changing for the better, though. Solar keeps getting cheaper and more efficient. Some people are charging their cars at home without pulling from the grid at all.
If anyone notices a cheaper alternative in the same format as the OEM, please link it. I haven't looked hard, but I'm missing my 2 hooks and refuse to pay for the OEM ones.
