I planned on offering them free to previous customers, just pay shipping, but it may have to wait until the next batch, out of 300 of them 160 were crap and the ABS material is questionable, so I don't want anyone having to pay even shipping on these.
If the dipstick was inaccurate I could see Ford having an issue, so far the dealers have had positive feedback or zero feedback as far as I have heard, the transmission guy at the local dealer was good with it as it made the job much easier.
I have had a Ford bought back before, but no, I like this truck, it's just a stupid situation. If I got it bought back, I would have to find a low mileage 21-23' Ranger, I don't care for the 6G Ranger looks.
I found out there is a adjustment on the shift cable, so if I can dial it in, great...
Well, I was happy, the dealer finally replaced the CDF drum, it was only the 5th or 6th visit for the shifting.
When I got it back, driving home it had a burning smell, banging underneath, the shifter felt weird, so I thought I better have a look, holy f#ck, it was so bad, almost too much to...
I think I fixed mine, I pulled down the rubber seal on the steering shaft, then I got the type of spray lube that sprays out liquid, then gels, (actually MC chain lube)
I took a rag, wrapped it around the part line in the shaft where the seal goes, stuck the tube from the lube and my air gun...
Actually, on my truck I am going to leave the front crash bars alone, it only touches when I really hammer it turning through dips and bumps, then, it only polishes the paint, it never touches in normal driving.
Yeah, when I read the difference between the AT3 and the AT4's, I called a local...
So hey, the design was a collaboration between me and Msfitoy, I put him on the task and he designed it, I only added in a minor change, it's his handiwork.
I ordered 300 of those funnels, 160 of them showed up distorted, the mfg says the train ride from the mfg district to the port must have...

Hi, Mike.
My 10R80 F-150 and 10R60 Bronco wanted me to pass on to you that they feel left out!
(Any progress/mileposts on those fronts or just sticking with the Ranger edition for now? I'm keeping an eye out on F150Gen14 and Bronco6g and...
The usual, harsh shift, delayed engagement, hanging in gear and delayed shift.
Been a problem since early on, this is the 5th or 6th visit for the transmission, they did the valve body update and updated the software last time.
So, just a normal Ranger transmission, at least in my case
When I just checked my truck into service for the transmission, I asked about that, he said because I'm out of 36 months I would need to call Ford customer service.
He said a lot of them have that problem.
I've chimed in on this one before, at Honda Racing (now CRC) we tested most of the ones on that list and some that are not.
The best, longest lasting additive package was Mobil 1, but it was not the best power by any means, but the additives stayed alive long past the others, in fact it ended...
The dipstick tube should be fine, it's too rigid to bend and kink, the pump hose can catch the inside edge of the lower fitting, so the angle cut on the end of the pump hose solves that.
I know Ford has reduced all the warranty times on the repairs, in the early 2000's they hacked back the times so bad, we were constantly doing what they call a "labor time study", it was a way to get Ford to raise the times.
We would do the repair, document the time and send it to Ford...
