I have actually tried to gauge this, but how I was doing it was not really working, what I came up with was hard to get exact, I figured that with the changing volume in the pan due the valve body shape, it made every number a different volume, or I was goofing it up.
And at the time I fiddled...
Thank you very much!
I'm waiting on the PTFE braided hose, hopefully soon I will have a 350' roll of it, maybe today, most likely the beginning of next week.
This time it will be a little longer but I'm usually only 3 days between batches, so if I'm out, check back in a few days.
Thanks!
Mike
Yes, 1/2 quart will move it a lot, if you are still low I would add 8-10 ounces to bring it into the range.
It's the old "add until full" advise.
As for the cold full, I have not tried to get a exact number, I think that checking and setting the final level is best done hot.
The cold level...
I would try a box end wrench from below, get it at an angle where you can tap on it with a hammer, shocking it with a hammer will break it loose easier than with a extension from above..
From above requires 1/2 drive if it's really tight, 3/8 flexes too much.
Through the fender well is an...
DM sent,
If I told you the comical conversations that have been going on between the F150 forum sponsor guy and myself, you would think I was making it up, I am so glad the admin and mods here are cool.
Congrats!, now you will be really busy!
I very much agree about the height and aero, keep going with yours, who knows... there might be some members here who might just want one!
PS, the design job on the funnel gets great reviews!!
3/8 poly hose will work, cut the end at an angle to get past the fitting.

Ha,
I actually sent a message yesterday to the F150 forum admin guys, asking if I can start poking around to gauge interest and look for for test vehicles! The Bronco is going to be really difficult, requiring an expensive coupler, I'm pushing it aside for now, despite the fact I have the upper...
I do rubber band them to the funnel, but what happens is the funnel moves around a lot, I used to wire it down tight, but too many were broken in shipping, so the wire around the middle, I tie it very loose to allow the funnel to float in the box.
So when the shipping Gorilla punts it, stomps...
I had so much trouble printing the silver, I only really got one good one out of probably 10 tries, the material kept bubbling, no matter what settings I used.
I should have the filament company match the paint codes! I bet it could be done
Okay cool, there should be a bunch to hit mailboxes this week. Either light blue or dark blue and one silver?
The funnels are on me, thanks for being customers!
