Glad you are healing. My wife is battling brain cancer and I know how you feel. You take each day and live it to the fullest!
Have a great time fixing up your truck the way you want it! Just what ever you do don't forget the damper! Lol
When I bought my truck I told my wife one option I had to have was heated seats. Both our vehicles have but she one-upped me. She has the heated steering wheel, 2919 Altima.
Very easy. My truck was sitting in the sun all day. I peeled back a small corner to hold and pulled the decals back over themselves. Both of them came off without tearing.
Had to change the red FX4 decals out. I think the blue looks much better on the silver. Used a grease pencil to mark the same locations as the originals. Spraying area with water makes placing the decals much easier, it also gives you some forgiveness in placing them. Should be good for at least...
Had the same thing happen to mine as well the other night. Haven't had it happen since.. Figured it was the Sync gremlins causing havoc again. May try the 2 button reset anyway.
Finally got my leveling kit installed. Thanks to Robby @ fordrangerlifts.com. Installed the 3" kit and am very pleased with it. Now time for larger tires!
Followed the instructions as printed that came with the outlet. Either way I have it installed. Ethan puts out a great product. Not everything always goes as planned. Life goes on...not losing any sleep over it.
Never received any gaskets to place between it and the bed side wall. I don't have a spray in liner either. With the way I installed it it won't be coming loose, it least I hope not! ?
I tried tightening it as much as I could then the screws were starting to strip the threads. Backed them out and tried using the extra set that came with it and the same thing happened. That's when I decided to use my own screws and additional holes in it to hold it in place.
You are right it is a very well made part. I tried every way possible to tighten it down but it still would still wobble. It does work very well. The directions were first rate. Must have been owner/user error in following directions! ?
Installed the Wolf Haus power outlet tonight. Could not get it tightened down so it wouldn't move around. Ended up having to drill 2 additional holes through the housing to fasten it tightly. Overall I am pleased with the design though.
