Kinda hard to quantify as I only had a rear seat for about a week. However, I decided to forego putting any sound deadening material on the back wall of the cab despite that being my original intention. As it turns out the extra dampening is not entirely necessary, couldn't have hurt but, the...
I'm confused by this question. What exactly would be the point other than adding significantly more weight to the front end of the truck? Seems like the modest power increase wouldn't be justified by the extra heft, no? A simple tune on the stock 4 pot gets really close to the output of the...
You could try adding a ridiculous quantity in the shopping cart and see if it lets you. If they will let you add 100 of them to your cart, they probably don't have live inventory....or have the item in stock. Seems to be no shortage of retailers "selling" things they don't have in stock these days.
The biggest con that you are going to find as of today is that the tune is not compatible with the 2021s yet. No ETA from Ford, just check back around summertime was what I got last Friday. I've been pestering them since I got my truck and found out after the sale that the tune is no bueno for...
Funny, just notice your profile pic. Top be honest, I really wanted the roll bar but, I had to settle for a ladder rack....more pics coming after the company log gets plastered on the truck.
That you thought my work good enough to show it off...color me humbled. Thank you! I'm happy that it has proved inspiring, that was my intent. Now other folks can work off my design and, as humans are so apt at doing, improve on it.
Figured out what you meant. Not sure what that attachment thingy is there...or the useless hyperlink in the post. Something screwy happened when I was uploading.
No ETA from Goose Gear. Just that they are working on it....whatever that means. A 60/40 would have at least been something useful. I did just finish my own project a few days ago. I posted another thread about it with pics. Check it here...
Thanks! Not sure I follow on the attachment not opening though. If you are referring to the molle rack, the rack is fixed to the panel but the panel folds forward.
Thanks! I am also a contractor, roofing to be specific. I use my back seat area like a small van. Plus, my trucks tend to be the family truckster, if you will, and the flat floor is awesome for the dogs.
I bought my Ranger knowing I would be removing the rear seat. I have no need for it and a flat floor is much more useful for me. Storage along with it a bonus. Searched them internets, made a few calls and emails, no dice for anything pre made....yet. I don't hang my hat on "coming soon" or...
I own the Overhaul HD setup...I use it for a ladder rack. It is a beast, and the install is easy peasy. The quick dismount feature is also a plus. Easily the best quality rack I have ever had. Pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. I would have no doubt the the Overhaul would easily support...
Couldn't agree more. It was the first thing I noticed on my test drive. I had the Fox by Ford setup installed before I took delivery and it is a big improvement.
Nice. The tech that did the work on my truck made it sound like the radar thing was really sensitive. Good to know it isn't. Sounds like you're good to go.
'88 Taurus. Brown on brown. It was a great car with the exception of the interior door handles constantly breaking. 20 years later I ended up with an '87 brown on brown as a winter vehicle. Rattle canned the thing flat black, robocop style.
FYI, I had the fox setup installed on my truck by the dealer. They had to do both the CCM and front end alignment after the install. I was told that the CCM requires an alignment rack for proper alignment as well. You might be able to do a down a dirty quick fix to get you down the road, but you...
