    Ford specifies 5W-30 and 0W-30 for the 2.3L Ecoboost ... why even bring up 0W-20 here? EVERYONE should read the information at https://bobistheoilguy.com/motor-oil-101/. 0W-30 is the way to go in our motors.

    Yes. I thought that I had seen an OEM system at Ford parts, but on second visit, I do not see one. I'm just seeing the units on ebay that claim to be compatible with the 10R80 transmission.

    I also looked up the pistons. The Mustang and RS pistons are the same. The Ranger piston is different and appears to be lower compression with more reliefs in the crown. The engine rods are all the same. 2023 Ranger, 2023 Mustang and 2018 Focus RS.

    Geez, such a simple change and the effect was very noticeable. My 2.3l ecoboost ranger is immediately quieter and smoother accelerating from a stop. You can easily hear and feel that it is breathing with much less resistance. Can't wait to upgrade the hot side pipe next! and then the down pipe...
