  1. Pennsylvania Like New Tremor Step Bars - $250

Sold to Rgh85 pending meet up. :)
  2. Found these new Raptor pics on Reddit

Taste is so subjective.... I'm in the camp that I think the front end and grille of the 5th gen is better. <shrug>
  3. Turn your ASS back on yet?

I figured after taking delivery two weeks ago, I would give it a really fair chance, and learn how it works, so I can try to work in sync with it. (it's the engineer side of me doing it's thing) I have to say, after a short adjustment of about 2 days, once I came to understand how it works, I...
  4. Window Tint Percentage on Ranger?

Having not had my Ranger through a summer yet, hoping someone else can chime in; how is the rear window tint at rejecting heat? (eg, you tinted the fronts, but not the rears, and the cab heat level was.... ??)
  5. For the Velocity Blue afficianados…

Was cleaning and prepping the bed for the Bed Mat install, and came across this little logo stamped into the metal. Thought it was cool, as it typically gets buried under bed mats, liners and/or spray in coatings, so most probably never even notice it. Just some Sunday morning musings. ?
  6. Magic button on console fixes everything !

That's the gist I was inferring; older folks are very set in their ways and don't like change. I get it, I really do. (I'm no spring chicken either) They spent most of their adult life doing things a certain way, and things worked fine for all those years from their perspective, so why does...
  7. Magic button on console fixes everything !

Very curious what the age of the OP is... I know it 'shouldn't matter', but maybe that would give insight into his....perspective.
  8. Hood Struts

Cosmetic Engine Cover got deleted a while back. Tailgate manual keyed lock got removed I think.
  9. Hood Struts

Yeah, I noticed on mine too when I took delivery last week. At least the studs are still there; if you order the struts from an earlier year you can retro fit and not have to use the rod.
  10. Another Shakeup at Ford

Same here; don't blame Tom or Chapman at all; this is entirely on Ford.
  11. Another Shakeup at Ford

With the Ranger now in hand, and how happy I've been with it so far, (still very much a honeymoon phase though) I'm pretty much ready to drop my reservation at this point... Will probably call up Chapman with a decision before end of March. ?
  12. What is everyone paying for their 5th Gen Ranger?

Chapman Ford of Horsham, PA did me an amazing solid. 2022 Lariat Tremor SuperCrew for 4% below invoice ($43,816) (plus $422 Doc fee, and tags/title/taxes after trade-in) Oh, also got 1.9% financing for 48 on the remaining balance. Ordered end of November 2021, delivered late February...
  13. Scheduled remote starts

Was playing around with this just yesterday; it seems remote starts with the keyfob, I could do as many times in a row as I wanted. Once I did it twice, if I didn't get in the truck with the key and hit the start engine button, the app would not allow me to send a remote start signal to the...
  14. seat foam failure, drivers side

Good deal! Sounds like your new dealership's service center is good people.
  15. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yeah, I think the slim are newer from what I'm seeing. Meant for those that really want the boards high and tight to rockers for maximum clearance. Would it be too much to ask for a pic of the board looking down with the door open when you have a free moment? Curious how much actual 'step'...
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Is that the standard width RB10, or the 'slim' version?
  17. More cost cutting, or just stupid design? (Bed Drainage idiocy)

Why? Because for my $43k plus outlay, I should not expect a modicum of engineering forethought and just blindly accept whatever someone slaps together? I am thrilled to have gotten the truck custom built in a relatively timely manner, given the supply chain circumstances of the world right...
  18. More cost cutting, or just stupid design? (Bed Drainage idiocy)

You guys seem to be missing my main point. I’m not entirely annoyed about the ice existing. That’s par for the course and is part of life. I’ve certainly driven many vehicles with huge chunks of ice hanging off them over the years. I’m annoyed that Ford didn’t take even a moments thought to...
  19. More cost cutting, or just stupid design? (Bed Drainage idiocy)

I'm talking if this were allowed to persist; up here in the snow belt we can easily get ice refreeze accumulations measured in inches at times. My pic is only to demonstrate where it happens, not a usual case of how much will accumulate. Yes, in this case, those tiny amounts will crack right...
