I think long-term, if you're running 33+ you should regear for the sake of the transmission.
I'll be running 255/80/17 soon, so regearing will be on my radar. I wouldn't even mind taking the plunge and being the first to do it.

I think this is subjective. The dual port won't make your turbo better, but you will hear the WHOOOOSH. If that's what you want and it is worth $40 to you, then do it. Boomba racing makes a cheap vent-to-atmosphere thing that just sits below your OEM BOV, if that is your speed.

You can fit 33s (255/80/17) with 2.5 in the front. The biggest issue is the width. I'm not 100% about 285, but 30mm is an inch so I think you should be good.

I've heard people have success installing a 3/8 male brass ball valve on the bottom so you rarely have to remove the can to drain. I have yet to do my install and I'm looking at the feasibility, practicality, and reliability of adding the valve.
