The Fox 2.5 DSC come in a standard and extended travel version.... adjustable for up to 3" of lift..If you have the extended travel version you will absolutely need UCA"s at 2.5" of lift to make room for the extra travel without binding...I highly recommend
also considering investing in...
If I remember correctly there were several companys that by adding a spacer to the ball joint stud claimed their UCA's could be used with the steel spindles. That did'nt last long...
Probably becuase it was causing problems and component failures..
A little more info about the ICON UCA's ....wheel size and back spacing are critical to proper performance of the ICON's if a larger than stock (265)
width tire is going to be used.....must have 4.75 backspace for a coilover with stock travel, and 8.5" wheel with 6" of backspace for the...
in April 2021 choices were very limited....APG was the only company making a UCA for the steel spindles.. Billet with uni-ball and adjustable Heim joint ends..bushings are solid milled no grease needed...the no deflection construction does allow more "road feel" to be transferred into the...

I recommend getting the adjustable valve ICON 2.5's, ...It all depends on your needs....I like the digressive valving of the ICONS for the flatter cornering on...
I"m running a skinny (255 70 R18) 32"" + 55 mm offset tire /wheel combo on my truck. APG billet UCA, Extended travel front and rear ICON CDCV 2.5 with the ICON leaf spring pack/ ICON bump stops...keeps the wheels inside the fenders at full compression...I noticed my stock tie rod ball joints...
I am assuming you already have ICON 2.5 extended travel coilovers, and after market UCAs up front...
For that little bit of extra droop you can disconnect/ remove front sway bar, and add the APG billet tie rod ends . The Heim joint ends allow for more range of motion before binding.
18x8 Ford BAP wheels, Cooper Rugged Trek 255 70/18 32" Tires, crash bars still all there...3" Front lift , 1" rear ,done with ICON 2.5 extended travel with adjustable dampening and ICON 2.5 CVCD Piggybacks and ICON WTX leaf spring pack in the rear....?....m6

I have not been out to check mine yet, but was wondering if a lifted , very close to level truck, parked on a flat slab be less susceptible to the water dripping on the engine ?
I'm at 3.0" front lift, about 1.0" rear with no weight in the bed. APG Billet UCA and Tie rod ends, both with adjustable Heim joints. My geometry is modified enough to where Ranger program specs no longer apply...
Your lift is still within program specs..but I would ask alignment tech about...
Printouts for alignment...top immediately after spring swap, bottom current after settling time, and upgrading my coil overs to the ICON 2.5 CDCV ET RR...Rear to the 2.5 CDCV piggybacks...
There is not designation for right or left , but the the ICON pack has a new bushing in the front eyelet, rear bushing from OEM set is reused...would be hard to to get front to back orientation reversed....
