    I installed the DD SS3 Pro fog lamps in my Ranger yesterday. Made the mistake of looking directly into the beams while checking beam height . I literally blinded myself and had to take a 20 minute break before I could see well enough to finish buttoning everything back up...

    Not sure of how much the options for the Ranger were ... but the Black Widow package for the Dodge Ram are about $25K, and covered by manufacturer warranty....Does that not add to the value...???

    It would depend on method they use. If they do the disconnect LCA from the frame it only takes 1/4 of the time. A total of 7 bolts . 2 bolts for the LCA to strut, 2 for LCA to frame, one for tie rod end to spindle , and 3 for the coilover top hat to frame...I have done it both ways....the...

    I installed ICON 2.5 VS RR CDCV ET Coilovers today . Used the disconnect LCA from frame method . It was much easier than messing with the axle nut and spindle that I did last time... Forgot to take a picture before I got the wheels back on. ( this is still on jack at full droop) .

    All ICON......As of yesterday ICON 2.5 CDCV shocks, previously had the ICON 2.O Aluminum since last April.... ICON RTX leaf spring pack, installed 1st week of Sept , along with ICON universal foam bump stops....

    No....Looks like I have plenty of clearance on stock exhaust....even at full compression, as close it would get looks 1.5" of clearance.... did you mount yours with the reservoir slightly angled towards the diff pumpkin per instructions ....?....

    I have APG billet UCA's....they were the only option for the steel spindles at the time....After I install the CDCV 2.5 coilovers, I will be running a full ICON Stage 8 system equivalent, including the leaf spring pack and bump stops, plus APG billet tie rod ends....The only reason for the coil...

    I replaced my rear ICON VS 2.0 shocks with the ICON 2.5 CDCV piggybacks... The front ICON 2.5 coilovers will be replaced by the CDCV 2.5 remote reservoirs when I have more time...
  17. Installed a Curt hitch solo today.

    I'm in the same boat.....DIY'er 63 year old that has added breaker bar, cheater pipes, , ratchet straps and extra Jack's to my arsenal of tools....I have found ways to wedge my breaker bar or Torque wrench on my floor jack to deal with bolts that have been or require being torqued to over 120 ft...

    Exactly as you described....I have the front drivers side at 3.0"" and passenger at 2.75"....I figure with me sitting in the drivers seat I am close to level driving down the road...I also have the ICON leaf spring pack in the rear....by getting the front more level, the rear went from a 3/8"...

    Frenchy makes valid points....when going to a 2.5 extended travel coil over several other upgrades are required to get the full use without binding and alignment issues...UCA and tie rod ends being the main two even with only a 2.5" coilover preset lift height... And be aware that Ford Program...

    2.0" out of the box , when on the vehicle, the coil preload can be adjusted for up to 3.5"... Simply just jack up till weight is off tire, loosen the little nylon set screw, and turn the collar... use the setsrew to count the full turns...One full turn will be approximately 1/8" of preset...
