Actually I was pretty lucky even though GBS is just bad luck. I had ataxia instead of the full paralysis. Lack of coordination, fatigue and weakness from the nerves not doing their job. I went to the hospital on January 13 and back to work March 17. Three and a half weeks IVIG (five treatments...
I went a few days. We got a foot of snow the 3rd night and of course laid all the brush over the trails and made walking rough for me. I'm still recovering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome from the first of the year. I'm good but get fatigued sooner than I would like. All I saw was moose!😂 If it...
Thanks, Dave. I have some friends who have a body shop and she used to do the paintless repairs. I don't know if she still does but I will be dropping in to see her. Hoping it can be reached from the back through the access panel as well.
Not to hijack but does paintless dent repair work on the aluminum tailgate? My atv trailer came unhooked heading up to elk hunt a week ago and the atv kissed the tailgate leaving two small dents. Not very deep and no bigger than a penny. Pissed at myself when I saw them the next day in the light...
I've had mine on since end of March. Towed, around town, highway and mild off road. So far they have been great. Elk season starts tomorrow so I will have some time on them in the woods this fall and I expect good performance.
Glad it towed well! We towed our 4100 lb travel trailer this summer for the first time over a pass and other hills and it was a beast! I am so impressed with the Ranger and it's capabilities. I should check my wires just to be safe.
Poking around underneath the Ranger I found I was missing the driver's side bump stop!! No idea how that happened. After some research and a couple phones calls to Timbren and E Trailer I ordered the Active Off Road Bump Stops. Had my shop install them yesterday. Can't tell any difference empty...
I tow an '88 Prowler Lynx we've had for 22 years. Had two different F250 diesels I towed it with before my Ranger. The trailer came with a WDH when we bought it from some friends of my parents. I always used it unless we were just moving the trailer a short distance real quick. The GVWR on the...
Scary stuff! Our daughter was on her last physical therapy school rotation in Bozeman, Montana and was heading into town to the clinic one morning and spun out on some black ice. Luckily all she did was tag the front on a guard rail and settled in the grassy median safely. Shook up but okay. We...
