Wait, I see the problem now... you didn't account for the second damper (see blue arrow). Run THAT through your personal quantum computer and tell me I'm wrong!
You'll get a lot of responses Drew. Dampers are kind of like politics or religion around here. There's a divide among the haters and the lovers of the tailgate damper ? For me personally, I installed one but love to read the banter.
Edit to add, Subquark (David) suffers from the effects of...
Another reason to consider buying used is that you'll get a few features that the new models don't have. Nothing earth shattering but there's a thread with the current list of deleted items. As time marches on, Ford seems to drop things from production. Not sure if that's because supply is...
From what I understood, it's the material they used to bond the windshield in place. I'm assuming that Ford doesn't actually make that stuff. But, if you think Ford can't do the "easy" things, don't buy one!
You have a Lariat? Yours is push button start. The key you have hidden in the fob is used to open the door in case the car battery is dead. All other Ranger models have a physical key ignition.
I would never have thought you could get something that nice/complex for $1,699. At twice the price, it seems like a bargain. I just ordered the AMP Research power step running boards at $1,649 and that's without installation!
Nice idea! I like that. Any chance you could snap a picture a few feet away or of the whole bed? I'd like to see the overall look. I know, they're only $6 and I could get one and try it out but I don't have a HF close to me.
A lot of people don't like sitting in a Camaro saying they can't see out. I felt very comfortable in it. Sitting in a Mustang felt more like an ordinary sedan. But to each their own.
I hope you get the ride you want and enjoy it. I'm 65 and figured it was time to grow up. That's why I...
Agree about the interior. It's a bit over the top and more truck like than sports car. But, it's probably where all vehicles are headed. One massive screen for a dashboard that goes from the center stack all the way over to the door.
There's a lot to like. I'm a GM muscle car guy since I was 17. I've had multiple Trans Ams over the years and I just sold my 2019 Camaro SS. which is an awesome car. But, my take away from the reveal is this is a huge, huge slap in the face to General Motors. Not just slap but a full fisted...
I won't hold my breath for that on Sync 3. For Car Play to integrate that closely with the car controls might even require new hardware. There are no standards for these things meaning all manufacturers write their own interfaces. Maybe, if we're lucky, Car Play will become the standard.
Shottenkirk is where I bought my Ranger this past March and I liked them. There was no markup on it. They had quite a few Broncos on the lot and I asked where they were getting them since they were in such short supply. They said they buy them from "other dealers" from all over at full...
I was on the 15tt floor of an office building just outside of downtown ATL. My wife called me and while I was on the phone with her, the second one hit. It was unreal.
I bought my wife's Lincoln Corsair at Pugmire Lincoln in Marietta two years ago. It was an easy in and out back then. Glad you got it worked out in the end.
