So what is the tire treatment of choice for everyone? Before I got the Ranger, I always used a matte finish dressing on tires for my classics. When I bought the Ranger, the dealer put a tire shine on it that I actually like. Now I want to do it that way.

Not only are us newcomers doing without all those goodies, we paid more for the truck! That's what really gets me. Ford and GM both are selling fewer vehicles but their margins have increased a lot and their profits are up. I'm happy for them but it's my expense.

I didn't know you could get anything other than orange on the splash. On mine, the FX4 sticker is orange instead of red and there is orange stitching on the interior. I thought about painting the tow hooks orange but I did it first in GIMP to see what it looks like and decided against it.
