I've been considering adding a stripe to the hood of my Ranger. I came across this Mach 1 image:

Since my Ranger is a Splash edition in Cactus Grey, the black with the orange stripe is perfect. I also like the matte black with the gloss black outline.

Anyone know of a shop that can make one-off graphics? I might have to photoshop (Gimp) it onto my truck to see how it looks.

Do you have a local shop that does signs and lettering? I had one back in MA and they did my lettering on my work vans but also did custom graphics so that might be a good place to start.

Good idea Dave! I'll have to take a look around. I'm sure there are plenty in the area. I didn't think they would make large decals.

Fred, With computers being used now a days most will be able to do any design you want. The one I used did everything from small yard signs to large commercial store front windows. I'm sure there's some in your area, good luck!

I've owned 4 Trans Am's in my life... 1973, 1977, 1994 and 2002. The '94 I had the longest. It was a 25th Anniversary car that I sold 4 years ago with 30K miles on it.

Ah memories. I did these myself some 2 years ago.

When doing something like this, do you apply wet or dry? Might be a dumb question, but I’m thinking of doing my upper tailgate and would rather not waste money paying for it, and/or messing up doing it myself. Lol

I really like the hood, btw.
