Probably not. Most vehicles now have the wiring for the headlamps built directly into the main wiring harness rather than as a separate assembly. So what I typically see is a physical spot for the LED module, but no pigtail for it.
This is the same for vehicles with a front wiring harness. The...
Well, my trusted friend and senior tech told me that they've never had a 6.0 liter diesel come back after studding the heads and replacing the headgaskets..., yet I just ordered new o-ringed heads.:flag:
That's horrible fuel mileage. I don't think anyone can deny that the Ranger will be able to tow what it's rated for. It's a matter of whether it will be able to tow well...
If you like seeing the manufacturer's defects... check out GM trucks and SUVs. Above the wheel wells they are all wavy from the stamping. Same as Jeep products above the quarter panel windows. Or F150 doors.
Those are some I can think of off the top of my head.
Keep drinking the Fiat kool-aid. They are still rated the poorest in quality. I'm not saying that as a "Ford fan boy" either.
My wife and I have a Patriot and have had an Escape as well as an Edge. Every single one has it's faults.
Working in the automotive industry for the last two decades...
I bet if you look close, you'll see scraping on the bottom of air deflector where they pulled to close to the curb and it grabbed as they backed out of the parking spot.
Well, I see many GM twins in person on a daily basis. They are huge and unless you're paying strict attention, it's easy to see the correlation between the full size versions and the twins.
An AWD vehicle only delivers power to both axles when it senses slipping (either mechanically or electronically). Just like the 4wd system described above, both systems have parasitic drag due to the front axle (or rear axle in some AWD systems) being physically connected still.
All manufacturers have issues. All dealerships have service and parts departments. All of them are busy.
I'm not sure what the growing pains of the Ranger are going to be, but I surmise it will focus around the implementation of the 2.3l EcoBoost as a "truck" motor and how owners will...
The disparity in weight is not that large, not by a longshot. Mustang GT owners would be in heaven if they weighed less than 3800 lbs.
The mileage difference is more about aerodynamics and how the engine creates it's torque.
Love this feature. Some vehicles can be locked with their smartkey inside by locking the doors with the keyfob or door button while sitting inside, then opening your door and manually pushing the "lock" back into the locked position(either down or forward usually). Then shutting the door...
I'm looking at getting my own tire change machine and balancer. It's a large investment, but will pay for itself in a short period of time with 2 vehicles, several motorcycles and various equipment.
I would have liked if the 2.7l EcoBoost was available. The fuel mileage while towing we're reading about is atrocious. It's like towing was an afterthought.
For anyone who plans on using the truck as a tow vehicle most weekends (even a 3500 lb trailer) will have to seriously think about a...
I think you will find the production leather will be the same quality. Not very many auto manufacturers use high quality leather for the seats. They're better than the early 2000's, but nowhere near the quality of the '06-'07 King Ranch leather found in the Super Duty.
