Shock. My Lariat SCAB is scheduled for production the week of August 15, 2022.
I thought they were only scheduling XLT for August builds.
Build is Lariat 500A with tow package.
Woah!
Ranger production info starts at 46:03.
In June, they will be scheduling August production of 6000 Rangers.
But, most important to me, at the 46:45 mark, it was said June scheduling will be 100% XLT, and if you have a Ranger XL or Lariat order, it's most likely not going to be scheduled...
Hi Zach. Fingers crossed you get June Ranger allocations so my order can go to scheduled. We just adopted a horse yesterday, so now I really need a truck that can pull a horse trailer ;)
Also, hope you will extend the $50 over cost on ESP to those of us are waiting on orders even if you choose...
There's two (or more) parts of an order getting a scheduled date. The dealer you ordered has to have an allocation of a Ranger(s), and then your vehicle is scheduled based on its order priority code and there being no parts shortage for your particular build.
So, no allocation, no build. I'm...
Any action I take for me will be with Ford. I am using our pseudo sponsor dealership for my purchase (the 3% under invoice dealer), so this both isn't on the dealership and the dealership has no where to go in terms of any further discount.
I do think it is an inadequate credit amount, and...
Same here, I'll stick with the order. I have a non-refundable deposit with the dealer on the order - perhaps that's not actually enforceable given this change, but needing some truck for towing, and the agreed on deal for the Ranger, I too am staying put. But will be trying for a larger number...
I'm kind of a special use case -- the truck isn't going to see a lot of use. Have a large property where I need a truck with more towing capability (the to be bought horse trailer) and a larger bed than my current 2001 Explorer Sport Trac with all of 71,800 miles.
So, while I would prefer the...
No notice from dealer that this is happening (I blame my salesperson / order taker and not the dealership as this dealership is very well regarded here), but I'm wondering if the $500 credit is sufficient.
Are there any other Ford cars / trucks where LED headlights can be added as an option...
And then there's those of us with late February order (mine was 2/28) that are still waiting to be scheduled and never got any 04/07/2022 "delay" email. I do know my order is still in the system as I've exchanged messages (all with my initiation) with the dealer.
I don't see mine either, so you are not alone. I have verified with a call to Ford the order is in their system.
FYI, I do have a F-150 Lightning reservation that does show -- which I will be cancelling as soon as my Ranger goes to a build.
As I've learned since ordering, the first requirement to be scheduled is that your dealer has allocation to cover their quantity of orders. Ask your dealer what allocations they have, how many other orders they have, and the order priority (10 to 19, 10 being the best) of yours and the others...
I've got a Scab Lariat 500A + tow package ordered 2/28. I'm highest priority of eight Ranger orders my dealer has waiting for scheduling. But they received no Ranger allocations in April and May from Ford. I'm in no particular hurry as the Ranger is for future towing needs and I have a perfectly...
I don't doubt that they told you they were generated randomly. But I suspect rather they simply just do not know or wish to share the trigger that sends a rebate offer.
I keep hoping for one as well for my truck on order. Oddly enough, two weeks ago I got sent a private Ram 1500 offer -- too...
Scab here as well. Order 2/28 and confirmed same day. Emailed dealer on Friday after no scheduling again. Dealer now bumped me to priority 10. But wait, I guess, another month for next scheduling window. Given this is vehicle to replace a 21 year old Explorer Sport Track that still runs, I'm ok...
Granger will not be collecting any sales tax. I will get temp transit tags for the drive back to CA. I will pay full sales tax in CA when I register within the required timeframe of 10 days of entry to CA.
And as to the savings in price, my local dealers are MSRP + 4K to 5K of useless addons /...
I don't know about the person you asked, but I live in CA and indeed will travel to Granger to pick up my truck when it is built and delivered.
It's not just saving on the purchase price but everything tied to the purchase price (sales tax, registration fees, license plate fees [initial plus...
