Am I the only one that was expecting to see a butt in this thread? ?
Reminds me of something I saw today:
FISHING! Get your mind outta the gutter. Didn't you see the fish hooks?
One thing to consider with rotating your fifth spare is mileage warranty.
Lets say you buy tires with 50,000 mile warranty and rotate every 5000 miles. Tires are rotated 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (being the spare tire, let me know if that doesn't make sense)
At 5,000 car miles, tires 1, 2, 3, and 4 have...
Ya, common sense would seem to say soft shifts are better. But in order to make the shift softer, the transmission has to use the clutch more, which is why a firm shift is less wear on the transmission.
Actually, from what I understand firm shifts are better on the transmission, because there is less wear on the clutch. This is of course assuming the firm shift doesn't damage any of the hard parts during the shift, which it shouldn't.
Robby recently put out a 2" level for the Tremor that I recently ordered. Doing it mainly to offset the drop from adding my ADD Stealth Fighter Winch front bumper (When it arrives, ordered back in April.....) and winch.
He said he was sending me some goodies with it, and asked for my shirt...
Ask them for your order confirmation. It should have an order number and the dealer code. With those 2 items, you can contact Ford Performance and they will let you know the current status. I was able to get my VIN before the dealer had it by going that route.
It should, as long as the tire fits. You straighten the flat bar and push it through the center hub and then tighten the chain, which pulls the wheel up. If you get hubcentric wheels that fit the Ranger, you;ll be fine. If they are lug centric wheels, the hub opening is likely to be larger than...
I have also had great experience with Discount Tire (America's Tire here). I only had 1 bad experience with them to date, but since I have used them for years and been very happy with their service, I let it go.
What happened was my wife took her car in because she had a slow leak, and for a...
I could be wrong here, but my understanding of the priority codes is it only affects orders from your dealer. Codes can be from 10 - 19, lower being higher priority, but if you are the only order, it won't matter what priority you have. Likewise, if the dealer puts all of their special orders at...
Posted in the local forums, but I noticed it didnt pop up in the recent posts, so figured I would put it here so more people see it.
If you are interesting in joining up, let me know where you are coming from and we can make a few meetup points.
I am coming from the Lodi area.
I made a video overviewing the Rostra multi camera interface. I should have stated that it supports 5 cameras in addition to the factory back up camera.
Another user used a switcher to have even more cameras, which is a great idea.
Is that 88 octane, or is it like E85 (85% Ethanol)? If it's 88 octane, it would be better than 87, but the fact that it is cheaper makes me think its something different.
