Didn't mention it above but the Rebel comes with an integrated trailer brake controller. Ranger you have to add it and if you want the emergency braking to work when towing you need to purchase the Ford unit. The status and adjustments are accessable via the display in the dash. It also has...
I have a 21 Ranger Lariat Tremor, my son has a 22 Ram Rebel.
The first thing that hits you is the Rebel is huge compared to the Ranger. I can park next to the Rebel and from the other side I can't see any part of the Ranger. People bitch about how high the Ranger bed is but the Rebel is...
Do a search on this site. You can go into the engineering menu and adjust the correction factor to make the dash display quite accurate. I adjusted mine about 35k miles ago and it's been +/- .5 mpg since.
If you read the link more closely it states the parts will be replaced as necessary. The potential reason for replacing the control arm or knuckle is that if they were loose and moving around the hole in the knuckle could be worn oversized and the stem on the ball joint could be worn undersize.
P0300 is a multiple cylinder misfire code, if the misfire was limited to one cylinder you should get a cylinder specific code (P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304). I would be looking for a vacuum leak or a fuel delivery issue.
I don't drive my vehicles decorated but most of the show's and cruises have a Trunk or Treat for the kids in October. Here is my Barracuda from the Mass Cruisers Trunk or Treat last Thursday and my Hot Rod from the Great Pumpkin show yesterday.
When I did mine I had trouble with the clip and as I recall I didn't have the pins fully seated. Once I used a small screw driver to push the pins in the clip snapped into place.
I didn't do my install in 30 minutes more like a hour 1/2 but overall it was straight forward.
Anything is possible but in Massachusetts someone from the local weights and measures goes to all gas stations periodically and checks how accurately they dispense fuel by filling a container and comparing the known amount in the container to what the pump states. If it is off by anymore than...
FWIW, the first 10k miles owning the Ranger I ran the FP tune. For the past 30k miles I have been running the Unleashed 87 performance tune with custom tranny tuning. The FP tune definitely had more top end but in the rpm range where I do 90% of my driving, <4000 rpm, the difference is not...
I have taken stripes off vehicles that are 10 years old and have spent that time outside. Once off and the area has been polished I have not ever seen any difference in the color.
I live in Massachusetts and after 9 11 the state formed a department of homeland security. As part of that activity they retitled all the game wardens to environmental police and moved them under the department of homeland security. As such they now have more authority than any other law...
The instructions for the Reese WDH I have states that you adjust the trailer level with the tongue jack then choose a shank with a drop/rise that will set the ball even with the coupling on the trailer. With the trailer attached to the tow vehicle use the link on the load bar chain that brings...
It is a blast, the Hemi is a fresh rebuild so I am keeping my foot out of it for a few hundred miles but yes it does not take much to break the rear loose when you have 400 HP and only weigh 2200lbs.
Got through the State Police inspection and got my VIN. Not without some jerking around by the RMV got it registered and have plates. I have been racking up miles over the past two weeks. The car handles like a Go-Kart, the suspension is a little harsh but liveable and the looks/comments are...
