Mobile 1 and Wix filter. My grandpa retired from mobile and it's just what we have always used. Every 5000 miles.
I've heard several folks complain about the removal of the wheel well liner to get to the filter. My 23 has 3 10mm bolts that just need to be removed. If your dealing with the...
Nice article. It does say the F150 has been the best selling truck for 46 years however that title belongs to the F-Series which includes not only the F150 but the heavy duty vehicles as well.
Well I guess I feel better now knowing they don't have their act together. Thanks for the reply.
Ford Accessories is running a 15% sale that ends at the end of the month. I really wanted this to be taken care of so I could reorder using my ford points with the 15% discount.
So I used my Ford points to buy 2 swing case toolboxes and had them delivered to my house. One of the tool boxes arrived damaged. I called Ford Accessories and they had me FedEx the toolbox back and they would reimburse me points/cash. My fedex tracking number says the return was delivered...
My buddy claims peppermint extract sprayed in the engine bay works. I bought a botttle from Amazon but haven't sprayed it yet. And like many of you, mice got into the cab and chewed up a bunch of napkins.
I bought a bed extender that allows me to transport long dimensional lumber. Purchased from Amazon for $60 shipped to my door. I can't believe how well made this is for $60. I understand its chinese kid slave labor making it but even so. Welds look good, powder coated, etc. I couldn't come...
A good battery will cover multitudes of sins. Cheap batteries just aren't worth it. I personally have been using Duracell AGM batteries. That change alone has "fixed" some of the issues I had with hard starting equipment. No longer having to keep a trickle charger going, hard starting when...
I had a breather on a chevy equinox. they had issues with the pcv collecting moisture, freezing, and causing issues with seals. Anyway, the one I installed seemed to always cast a smell of hot oil after driving. I guess it was doing its job but didn't care for the smell of oil in the cabin.
IDK Mike. Keeping track of votes and PM's on this forum seems like a PITA. Maybe the forum owner would allow you to post some kind of link that would handle the ordering part for you like Quiken or whatever small business software is out there? Maybe becoming a sponsor gives you that? I know...
I think its too late. I sent a PM to him about 2 or 3 months ago. When I didnt get a reply I sent an email to his business that is in his profile and never heard back. Kinda bummed about it. I may try to fab one myself. I'd have to tack weld it together and have a buddy weld it up. I...
Just talking out loud but I would guess most folks fall into 2 categories that would join this forum. 1. They are interested in modifications and aftermarket upgrades. 2. They have a problem with their truck and want to see if its common, what was done to fix, complain, etc.
So there will be...
I really like what you did with the chain box installed on the tool box. Did you just bolt them together or use some kind of connector that allows you to easily remove the chain box (eg. french cleat)?
