I would want to agree with airline tech....it sounds like you have some intermittent ground fault that occasionally interrupts power. This happened to me on another car I had and cleaning and reattaching all battery/chassis/engine grounds I could find cured the problem.

My 2021 reads exactly as yours does....always....a bit left of center. Even if I'm towing....or in 100 plus degree heat here in Louisiana, it never indicates any hotter than that.

My 2021 doesn't have a glove box damper either. When you pull the latch....it just falls open about halfway... retaining tabs keep it from opening further. You must squeeze the box sides together to lower it further...to access the cabin air filter.
