you just need to get the dealer to pull a "VINCENT" report. Its the only assured way to
see what stacks and what is compatible.
Some dealers are not honoring x-plan at this time.
I've come to spot those letters about warranties the second I take them out of the mailbox. In the trash they go.

The dealer would really have no interest in selling your information if you declined the extended warranty from them.
HOWEVER, the local DMV, for sure, sells the information. they have your name, address, vin #, make, year, and model of vehicle. I get at least 6 postcards in the mail shortly...
those FORD surveys you complete about the dealership or service aren't sent out by FORD either. they use a third party company.
So, I am not sure why the big investigate work.
The modem in your truck already transmits more information to FORD that you probably even realize....What other data could they possibly be wanting?????????
