Oh yeah, there are always quirks in a new model year vehicle in ANY segment. One thing about the Frontier is that this would be the THIRD year the 3.8 V6 and the 9 speed have been available. It was in the "old style" 2020 and 2021 Frontier before it made it into the 2022. This was a wise...
That's why there are so many companies that make trucks. Different likes for different folks!
I liked the Ranger overall. I like the Frontier better.
Everyone will have their opinion!
You want a BUTT UGLY truck, go buy you a Tunrda Turd Pro. LOL Like the "squarish wheel wells" on that one????
No where as bad as the Ranger. I can't see the underbody and spare tire on the Frontier, like I could on the Ranger.
The Colorado and Canyon are awful, and they did a horrible job of the spare tire stowing.
Dealers are being sent what ever trucks Nissan allocates to them at this point. I've seen some weird options such as a Sports Bar package in an SV, and the Kicker Tailgate Audio System, to a long bed SV.
The tech package adds $990, the Convenience Package adds $1990, and the Premium Package...
Incentives suck, for sure. I haven't seen a frontier anywhere for less than MSRP. Most have a "regional market adjustment" of anywhere from 1000 to 5000 over MSRP, and people who want one (pro-x or Pro-4x) are paying that without complaining. Depends on how much you want one. I got $500 off...
Turn radius is "SLIGHTLY" improved but not by a big margin. And turning/steering is a bit tight since it has hydraulic setting instead of electric power assisted.
That might be a consideration for a lot of people, but for someone who rarely tows it would not be an issue. If I wanted tons of towing capacity, I'd have an F150 or a Titan!
Pro-X's and Pro-4X's are either sold before they arrive (based off in-transit inventory online), or if not presold, they're gone the day they come off the truck.
Nothing wrong with the SV's, They actually have a smoother ride. Michelin tires were on the ones here. Pro's get the stiffer...
Beats me. Some people thrive off drama I suppose! Seems to only bother one person! LOL
there are threads comparing the Ranger to the Tacoma and no one complaints about that. Talk of the Bronco on the Ranger forum, no one complaints about that. I get it, some aren't a fan of Nissan.
and I...
I'll post back in about a week with my 1st impressions and feedback.
The message thread is in the correct area
General Automotive (Other Vehicles)
So anyone bothered by it, can ignore it or skip over it!
As others have stated, it has to be Ford Service, or a Ford Accessory/Part.
Service has to create a s/o, then parts has to bill it to service, then its invoiced.
Service is the one who applies the fordpass points toward the invoice.
If a dealer says it can't be done, its because they either...
Front on, each truck has its own personality.
Frontier a little more "squarish", the the Ranger a little more rounded.
Like the Rectangular LED fog lights compared to the Rangers. (doesn't look like Ranger has LED headlights on that trim).
Not really a fan of the silver "skidplate" on the...
Honestly, because I really liked the new styling and interior.
Additionally, I got tired of the Ranger not learning what gear it needed to be in at low speeds, then sputtering/lugging until you either floored it or downshifted manually. Lock 8-9-10 out, and you're good around the city...
