Grumpy as usual. Found the issue. The ground wire on the BCM side was bad in the connector kept shorting n burned up three bcms and two other modules before the tech decided to check the wires and replaced that part of the wiring harness
Well update for all you helpful folks and less than helpful/smartass "people", ford has had my truck twice now. First time they replaced two modules that were dropping signal between them and the BCM. One day later the same issue occured except the radio now worked. Now the replaced the BCM and...
Alright folks UPDATE TIME!!
Just got the truck back from ford. So the solution was simple... Replace two modules that were not communicating with each other and we're causing the rest to act wonky.
The tech said he's never seen this issue on new vehicles, typically the computers don't just...
It won't shut off... Drives fine. Minus wipers not working, ac not working, auto headlights not working and God knows what else. Oh the 4*4 selector doesn't work or the TM button either
So this has happened a few times now. I've done nothing electrical with the truck except change out the horn. And mechanical I've replaced the charge pipes. And this truck is a pavement queen with 9000 miles
I'll try to post a pic and video
Also the truck will not shut off. Key is in off dash...
Just keep us posted. You have dozens of folks like myself sitting here ready to toss you $$ as soon as presale is available.
Hey btw what's the advantage to that radiator the guy above posted over the stock one?
Hey @Mishimoto you see mountune has their intercooler out it looks like. Any word how yours compares to theirs vs stock. Especially the inlet outlet temp differences and pressure drop??
Well don't grab the wet oven mitt my friend. But if you leave the not on there a bit it will dry off and the evaporative cooling will actually pull more heat than just air.
Currently looking at "sock" options that are sealed to avoid moisture to begin with
Big grain of salt. I'll say this, it definitely gets up n goes better than stock. I might wrap the cold side pipe with insulation or something to kill off some of the heat soak effect
