Ya true, lol. Everything is very clean and tight looking, which is why there is no easy way to access it.
On the bright side, I can replace the bumper in a matter of minutes now.
Ok, so.....
I installed the winch to the truck:
Installed the bumper, only to realize the clearances are super tight, like practically non existent. Like so tight, I could barely rotate the lever to engage the clutch, even with the grill removed.
I called ADD to ask how the designed it to...
If you are doing any rock crawling, yes absolutely. If not, wont make a difference.
To your first question, you asked what I would do.......I tend to go overboard, see my build page. I started installing the Bumper/winch/light bar and pods tonight.
However, if you are just looking at dirt...
The winch is on the bracket, but I'm going to take a break. Haven't decided if Im going to remove my bumper tonight or not. Once I start, there is no stopping till it's done.

Here is a picture of what they look like. It's just a sticker, but it works and was fairly cheap.
It won't be entering a cycle by keeping the RPMs up. You are burning off the soot that is stuck in the DPF. Basically you are manually doing the regen.
Mike seems to know his stuff on this. I have no experience with the DPF in the Ranger, but I have a tractor that uses a DPF. I have over 100 hours of use and have never had to regen because I always run the tractor at WOT once it has warmed up. You could try using S mode and manually setting the...
