Headliner will pop out but you need to lower the front first by removing overhead console. You remove over head console by grabbing the back two corners and pulling down this will pop the first two clips, then there are two more in the middle don't pull too hard just enough to pop them then...
I also removed the rear light but the hole where the wires comes through is too small to reach anything. Also the plug you need to disconnect is held in the roof with two plastic push pins and needs to be pulled from inside the cab with the headliner down
When you install a top spacer on the strut it doesn't effect the spring load so the shock functions same as it was from the factory. When you disassemble the strut to put in a preload spacer in for the lift, the spring is under more tension so you can get a slightly more bouncy ride. RC sits on...
I put on a leer SR250 they have a special it was 250 shipped seems pretty nice Bulk head seal should have been longer but that will be easy fix when I hit the home depot:like:
Ride is exactly same as stock as this system sits on top of the strut with 1.5" spacer. Ride gets effected when you install strut spring spacers for the lift.
Hey just a quick heads up for anyone using this kit. In the directions it tells you to remover lower strut studs by placing strut in vice and to hit the studs out. My word of advice is that is going to be very difficult. I have a harbor freight 12 ton press and used that to remove them. Using...
Okay looking at the back of my Ranger the exhaust tip sitting crooked or angled down is really annoying me. Has anyone tried MBRP duals on the truck?? I always like that even look.
Cans are beneficial yes they have a separator on both Ford ecoboost 2.0 and 2.3 engines from the factory, and I have seen coked up intakes valves that require cleaning. The fact that you are catching oil in the can kind of reinforces the fact that fords factory separator isn't doing all that...
Installed the Mishimoto catch can Saturday 4/10. Two hours to install totally sucks if you have large hands which I do. Be prepared to loose some skin squeezing your hand between frame and body to release the clip on block mount, the worse part is pressing the new clip down
on the Mishimoto...
2021 Lariat crew cab 4x4 tow pkg. Fx4 360 co-pilot and spray in liner 39900 OTD. Wife's brother works for Ford. Got lucky, NY is where I bought it but Florida is where I live so got the Florida cash rebate 2250 plus 500 first responder.
might also void your warranty or cause unnecessary problems with the dealership. Once they start with this is not the brake controller ford approves. Don’t know only know the job sucked to do but no broken or damaged panels and truck is back together same as factory.
How do you know if the controller will work right if the other two wires on both ends of the harness see nothing because they are now not connected to anything? Might cause and issue with the module
Okay if you tie into that one wire then you need to modify the factory brake controller with the six wire pin leads so how would you do that and what guarantees do you have the module will work properly after you modify the harness
Not sure what the lightforce one is but wanted one that works with co-pilot 360 and adaptive cruise control and braking feature. This unit is suppose to work with all that crap.
In the crew cab the headliner is pressed into the raised rear lip on the sliding rear window, it needs to be moved forward after the rear pins are released otherwise it is impossible to get your hand up to the third brake light harness plug. My wife has thin arms and she couldn't even get her...
Here you go, did it with my wife, absolutely ridiculous how this has too be done. My truck is a lariat crew cab. To start the install, you have to locate the Yellow and Blue wires in the front under the dash. Ford tucks this wire folded up and taped together with blue tape. Ford was kind enough...
