If you’re in CO I’ll let my tremor skid plate (same as FX4 just black) go for a great price. I got an AFN bumper that came with its own (very beefy) skids and the stock one is just sitting in my storage right now
I’ve got a lifted tremor and I’m planning on running a 285/75/r17 soon. I don’t have front crash bars, as my AFN bumper took care of those, I will be putting in high clearance rear crash bars.
From my measurements they should fit. The tremor wheels have a +42 offset and if needed I have 1.5” spacers
You’d also have to put in a catless downpipe to get that turbo whistle sound at low rpm. I’ve only heard that noise in cars running a true straight pipe, or running a catless downpipe and very small straight through muffler.
I took the steps off of mine and covered them with grip tape until my white knuckle rock sliders arrived. Very happy with them, and no drilling of the frame required.
As others stated, the factory steps were surprisingly lightweight, I wouldn’t have trusted them to take the weight of truck on a drop
I’m fairly certain that the product name from ford is called the power pack, which includes the tune and a K&N air filter. I haven’t seen it for sale as just the tune, but yes they are the same thing.
Do you possibly mean a 275/65/r18? A 375/65/r18 is a 36-37 inch tire which as far as I’m aware cannot be run on a ranger without extensive modifications to the fender and bumper area.
Every time I bring up that LED bulbs do not work well in halogen reflector housings a lot of people say “well I don’t get flashed so they aren’t bad”. Meanwhile there is a big difference in useable light, glare and light patterns. I cannot stand seeing these drop in lights pointing at me while...
I left the bar on mine until my white knuckle sliders showed up yesterday. Either way won’t make much of a difference, it is useless as a step with just the bar
Wheel spacers can help run a wider tire without rubbing on the spindle. Some do it for that, some do it for the look or to have a wider track width.
I personally put mine on and will continue to run them when I get 34’s once the factory grabbers wear out. I loc-tited mine on, torqued to 100 ft...
I have a Bak revolver X4S paired with an RCI rack with the tonneau adapters. In the warm months it holds my tent, in the cold months my ski rack. Very happy with the combo (plus RCI is about 15 minutes down the road from me).
The recovery hooks on the Tremor are removed if you have the factory tow package. The hooks mount to the same place as the factory hitch. So if you have the factory hitch then you’re not missing anything.
I just read an article the other day that GM removed heated seats as an option from all but a few of the high end trim packages of some vehicles. More chip shortages.
heated seats may be available as a dealer ad on after the sale. What I was reading for GM was that they’d be built with...
