  1. Goodbye Ranger

Were your prices that high before the 'Gay War' in The Ukraine?
  2. Goodbye Ranger

I think an interim tech like hydrogen will take place before major electrification. I'm surprised LNG hasn't taken off. Hydrogen powered Toyota Mirai sold in California.
  3. Home Repairs - Home Improvements

HVAC scheduled to be replaced today with a slightly upgraded system using the current refrigerant. Keeping the current fan cabinet along with the current electric heating components. Dryer/Accumulator failed a couple of weeks back, at the end of our cooling season thankfully. Condenser-heat...
  4. Softening the Ride…HELP!

A matched set at 4 corners works best.?
  5. Goodbye Ranger

    Well, ok….?
  6. Softening the Ride…HELP!

Nah. Don’t be cheap! Pay a pro so your beer doesn’t get spilled! That would be a catastrophe in itself.?
  7. Goodbye Ranger

You have changed my mind about my pathetic Ranger. You, sir, are a visionary. My Ranger will go up for sale tomorrow morning. Fuel mileage? Averaging 22 on 93 E0 I paid $5.39.9 for in recent weeks. My Ranger even has the FRPP Ecoboost Performance tune. What is my gripe about this pathetic...
  8. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

When was the last time the trailer wheel bearings were repacked???? https://matsonauto.com/how-often-should-i-service-boat-trailer-bearings/
  9. Softening the Ride…HELP!

Well, it's a pickup truck. The stock shocks are crap, with minimal dampening. The first of 4 new Rangers I've owned since 1988 that came from the factory with crap shocks. Bilstein Shocks/Struts made a huge difference. I paid nearly $1,100 installed. Ranger has been undergoing a...

  11. Remember where we came from

I'm a big fan of the Rancheros. 1957 F code. One of two known to exist.
  12. Remember where we came from

The 1961-1963 Unibody F-100s were gorgeous but engineering failures.
  13. Labor charge

What I paid for Bilstein 4600s all the way around. $390 and change for the shocks/struts delivered. Two vendors involved unfortunately. Services provided by a well equipped, competent nearby shop. $480 for the strut installation $108 for the shock installation $90 for a 4 wheel alignment...
  14. Continued SYNC Issues - Remote Start and Windows...

Dang! What has Ford done? My 1998 Mustang went into the body shop for work when the 'one touch' module in the driver's door was left out by mistake. Window still worked, just no 'one touch' function. I went back to the body shop, spent about 15 minutes and left. 'One Touch' function...
  15. What did you let go to get your Ranger?

Please tell us about your experience with the S-10. I recall looking at them in the late 80's when a special package was being offered in a 2wd standard cab, identical paint and velour interior, 2.8L FI motor, completely loaded - power everything for around $10, 250 sticker. An attractive...
  16. Useless Stuff.....

    Time for some more....
  17. What did you do to your Ranger today?

The 303 product has piqued my interest. Another product I'm fascinated with is Cilajet. Sadly, the Cilajet product is much more difficult to get, while the application process is quite expensive. My 2005 Mustang had Cilajet applied shortly after purchase when new and still looked immaculate...
  18. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I finally got around to performing the USB SYNC3 map update. Shorepower (hooking up a battery charger) didn't do the trick this time (battery health?). Went into 'Preserve Battery Shutdown' mode despite the 2a charger being hooked up. Ended up idling Ranger for nearly an hour to complete the...
  19. Ford Pass update has killed it

I didn't read the whole thread. Did the OP log out, then log back in? Restart the phone? Reinstall the app? No issues with FordPass that I recall, but UConnect for my Chrysler acts up some times. Logging out then back into the app usually corrects any issues.
