congrats! my opinion...check rockers for open holes on bottom, should be 10 each side.. plug them with 3/4 inch plugs before dirt and stuff gets in there.. there is a handy console tray online thats nice to add... i saw with my lariat the tires did put debris on vehicle, so i added splash...
just curious,,,, i see lots of talk about the maverick and the orders along with the bronco and talk about the electric f150, but rarely see reports on orders or info from ford on the ranger much... they seem to mention other products but very little ranger updates..... thoughts?
i am in florida on east coast.. i might see another ranger once a week.. almost never see them.. see many tacos and colorados but almost never a ranger
i have 1800 miles on my stock ranger.. mostly in town and short distant driving.. i calculate mpg after every fillup.. with 87 octane... so far average 19.5 mpg
bought 2 wheel drive 2021 lariat, well optioned near end of april 2021,,, msrp was 40,703....... paid 36,300 for it. ford rebate of 3000 at the time and dealer took off 1400.... guess was lucky bought just before they dropped the rebate.
i agree... me being new i had questions and wanted to learn things, most are helpful but some just blow off crap...like do a search, look it up... of which i had anyway, or buy a toyota and then complain etc... the damper thing..... its like your not allowed to have an opinion on your truck...
was wondering if there is a way to lower the rear of my 2 wheel drive truck 1/2 to 1 inch lower.....so it can sit a little more level... i am surprised that the bed height is close to same height as other full size 2 wheel drives................. also curious of any suspension changes...
couldnt agree more.... some of these responses are ridiculous. i agree the suspension is bouncy...and its been mentioned on here a ton... i also agree why buy new and then have to spend more money on it to fix something that could of been done better? for some to say you can test drive... like...
my truck came with ford bedliner,, no complaints... i did get a hard folding tonneau... i ended up with a leer hf350 and am very happy with it... no drain tubes, better latch system, came complete with thick insulation for front bed rail, shims for side rails if needed.. as far as leaks, i...
your opinion, your maxing out your truck, and that will cause damage and make it unsafe.... read anything on towing and it tells to deduct some cases up to 20% minimum 10%... best of luck.. and has zero to do with tongue weight...
i just put a leer hf350 on mine...hard folding, fits well, and even has thick gasket seals for front of bed along with shims to go in between bedliner and steel part of bed rail if you have a bedliner... heavy to me but fit well and 99.9 water free in bed after hard rains..... i got my on sale...
just a heads up, gcvwr on my ranger is around 12,200, vehicle empty is around 4400 pounds.. leaves 7800 pounds... no gas, no people nothing. to tow safely and not destroy your vehicle, you should deduct at least 15% from gross combined vehicle weight of 12,200 which is 1,830..leaves a safe...
appreciate your comments, best in world? well thats your opinion and your entitled... i had a ram before the ranger and fit and finish was way better.... prior to that had a 2010 ford f150 and well found 2 areas that never were painted and had to get it painted, a/c went out, climate control...
thanks but never implied or asked for help.. just was stating what i thought of my ranger after having it 3 months and sharing my thoughts and opinions on my truck and experiences... nothing more, nothing less
rofl,,, no one said engine cover was a quality thing, said its skimping on material along with other areas... i have seen many a leather seat and they are not designed like this,,,, you people cant read...geez, if you cant understand what was written , why say anything... all i said was i...
