Went to the PA Farm Show yesterday and it started snowing early. Til I left in the afternoon it was getting pretty slick, I had Pepper in 4H all the way home. 97 miles, took me an hour and a half to get there, but two and a half to get home (in time to see the Steelers beat those ugly Raiders?)...

I picked up 2 28" x 28" pieces and some smaller rectangles. I think the whole thing was around $40. I sanded them and rounded the edges and applied butcher block oil . Amazon had the high top bar stand, nice and heavy, the base is actually cast iron. They are in my basement next to the bar...

ThatsANiceSturdyWorkbench, ThatsAMonkey...:)...good steel frame, leveling legs. There is a mill that makes custom butcher block work near me, for kitchen countertops and tables, etc. and I got some seconds there pretty cheap. Must be nice to have a/c in your he/she/monkey-shed!

Thank goodness for KBB! I think Carvana is low-balling and probably most sites will, but KBB has been around for a while and I will use them to get the best from my dealer on trade, but I have a fall-back of a buddy who said he'd give me $32k for it as he just retired, lost his company car and...

I'm starting to get upset! Down $2200 from Carvana, never thought it would go below $30k....dream on...it won't be worth anything by the time I get my 6g, scheduled for 1/8...

Good practice Jason. In my case I have x plan so I know what my 6g will cost. The devil will be 100% in the trade vs sell myself. They are hedging on giving me a trade price til my new truck comes in and that is smart on their part as my value keeps going down.

Would anyone recommend Carmigo, since they have a presence here? @carmigo comments?

IDK, Carvana offer on my 2019 XLT w 25k mi was $28k, which I thought was low too (I should add I installed a Lariat grill but not fooling anyone)...They said add $1600 for trade price but I'm not buying from them. The Carfax pricing I get monthly has steadily dropped from my initial 2024 6g...
